Easy peasy
This was super easy to put together. Thankfully, ours came well packaged and undamaged. Instructions were really clear. The wood is lightweight and not very thick. If you live in a colder environment, you will need to add insulation. I would strongly suggest applying some kind of finish to ensure that it stayed dry if you are not planning on keeping this house under a covered carport, or patio. Otherwise I can see possible water damage straight out of the box after assembly if left in the elements. The smell wasnt too bad to our noses, but it was bad enough the cats didnt use it right away even with half a bag of catnip all over the blanket. It took 3 nights before our ferals gave it a go. I liked the adjustable feet to keep it sturdy considering my tile isnt exactly flat. We live in a warm climate with cooler evenings so I took off the silicone flaps to allow for more airflow. I also removed the inner shelf as our ferals are on the larger side. We have one tom who is tnr’d that looks to be an easy 15lbs. He takes up the whole house. Im 100% sure we are not his only late night restaurant. 😂 Third photo: SUCCESS!!! Catnip and have patience. This little one purrito’d himself. 🥰10/10 would get this house again. It met all my criteria. Spacious, lightweight-but wont blow off the patio during high winds, easy to put together, and aesthetically pleasing. Happy assembling everyone! 😊

Adorable
I bought this cute house for a beautiful feral calico who adopted me. The house is very easy to put together and it really is just adorable. I put some straw on the bottom and kitty has now after exploring all the entrances and exits decided she likes it and she has been sleeping in it. if you have any kind of house you make for an outdoor cat, whether it’s a cardboard box or or something nice like this you absolutely must have a minimum of 2 entrances/exits so that the kitty can never be cornered by another cat or other animal. It is well-built and worth the money.

Decent house for small dog or a cat.
This was easy to assemble. The wood is thin, maybe 3/8" thick. The plastic door covers are attached with three screws and they will cause it to tear in time. I added a strip of screen molding to hold them. The floor is made of slats with space between each board. I felt this would make the house cold and drafty. I put a piece of Styrofoam over it and then added a K&H PET PRODUCTS Self-Warming Cat Bed Pad to make it warmer. The pictures don't show it but there is a large door at one end that makes it possible to clean it out without removing the roof.

Adorable, easy to put together and has an escape door.
I love this cat house ! Very easy to put together with just a screw driver and it looks adorable. Enough space for two cats and with a self heating bed or electric cat pad it will make a nice shelter in the colder season for the strays I feed.Although it is nice quality for the price, it needs to be under a covered deck, in a garage or somewhere protected. I got it on my deck, which is covered and somewhat protected from heavy wind. Now I just hope the cats will actually use it .

Sturdy and practical
I bought this for my stray cats that we have living in my back yard. It is super sturdy, I even insulated it with some foam and then put a heated pad for them to lay on. Winters are cold and this should keep them nice and warm. It's a super cute house and not tiny at all.

looks nicer than it is.
Just received and unpacked everything and dome window is did not survive, which if your dome window arrives unbroken with how this is packed I'd be really surprised. Customer service at Amazon is beyond irritating, just let me ask a question OF THE SELLER...

My indoor bunny loves it
I have a 3 year old medium size bunny and she loves her new hideout. It stays open and she just goes in and out as she pleases. Quality is good, and it is aesthetically pleasing, which was important to me. The little top shelf sometimes will fall off but it is no big deal for me. She is happy so I am happy.

should have listened to the other reviews
it's small. my 2 biggest cats can't fit through the little doors. I have the big door down and put a blanket over it. it is not insulated at all. thin wood with cracks between the boards. I bought it because it was cute and the cat I am worried about does fit in there. I lined the inside with blankets so if my cat gets stuck outside for a few hours she should be okay. over all I think I got what I thought I was going to get.
