I purchased it for my daughter but she picked it out. If I had spent a little more time researching, I probably would have suggested a different strap such as a Music First strap (https://smile.amazon.com/MUSIC-FIRST-Original-Vintage-Shoulder/dp/B07YTCB2PC/ref=pd_rhf_ee_p_img_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=P8EB0A3ECGX8D5PAK631) simply because it's real leather and I like the "Strap Locker" feature. Yes, more expensive, but only $5 more. I was disappointed to see that the "leather" on this strap is not genuine leather at all. While at this low price that can be forgiven, I'd prefer they were accurate in the description and that they call this PU leather or vinyl or whatever it is. Not a dealbreaker, but it cost it a star. That, and I wasn't a fan of the little rubber grommet provided for between the strap button and the uke. Too thin and I couldn't get it to center properly under the button as I tightened it. Again, not a deal breaker and at this price, maybe I shouldn't complain, but I prefer to be accurate.That being said, installation was pretty easy but instructions (especially about the size of drill bit to use) would have been nice for peace of mind. I ended up using a 1/16 bit and that seemed to work okay. Also saw a recommendation to add a little paraffin wax to the screw threads on a Youtube video to help it ease the screw in and that seemed to work nicely. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Installed on a ukelele for beginners *by J***J on Reviewed in the United States on May 23, 2021* Easy to install on a HUAWIND 21 Inch Soprano Ukulele for Beginners that was purchased on Amazon. I recommend using blue painters tape and measuring the center. It works best if there’s a wood piece inside the ukelele running across it. Tools I used; blue painters tape and a screwdriver. I do not think it’s necessary to use a drill. The strap is a good length. Should I need another one in the future. I’d definitely buy again! I wanted a simple light colored strap to show off for a very nice baritone uke. Metal fittings, I prefer plastic to avoid any possibility of scratching my instruments. The fabric layers do not seem to have any internal reinforcement (stiffener): The strap goes limp, folds on itself and gets jammed up in the metal fittings. Having to straighten out the instrument’s strap fairly frequently is a significant issue to me.
