Working great with my wife's laptop.

Background: I'd been using another charger I'd bought after my original Dell charger quit working. The 2nd one sorta worked: it DID provide power to my laptop, and would keep the battery % charge from going DOWN, but wouldn't charge it up any more. If I ever unplugged, the battery would work, but the % charge would go down. Then when I'd plug back in, the charger would keep it right there, at that %. Plus, whenever I had to reboot, the laptop would stop, and display a message saying it was unable to determine the wattage of the charger. I'd hit Continue and it would boot, but it was a nuisance.Now, this one, that I got couple weeks ago, works great, and has no such problems. It charges the battery to 100%, gives me no error message booting, does not feel excessively warm, and the "brick" part is a reasonable size/weight. Very satisfied, well worth the money. Oh, my laptop is a Dell Inspiron 15-3552, bought in June 2017.

A cat chewed through my original charger/power supply's cord. This is the original equipment, not aftermarket, replacement, and at a reasonable price.

I bought another adapter to replace the frayed one for our Dell Inspiron 15-7569, and this seller sent the real-deal: see the pics, plug types, and part information. I had a bad experience with another seller who sent us what looked like a legitimate adapter, but it did not work: it was either a fake or reject part. Lesson learned: look more carefully at negative reviews for complaints of bogus parts. So far so good with the new adapter--time will tell on its durability and longevity.

Power adapter works great. Very durable so far, it is surviving all my college kid is throwing at it. Constantg use, bouncing around as they run between classes. A great value for the money.

I tried less expensive third party cords and they do not last long. I have learned, it is important to always buy the Dell brand chord for your laptop. You'll end up paying more in the long run with having to replace the cheaper versions.
