Just amazing ✨
think this might be one of the most beautiful books I've read from Michelle Heard. Usually I feel like the romance is developed very fast, but in this book it took it's time. I love that! Max was possessive, and dominating but not in a way that it'd make you wanna smack him. And Cami! Oh my god, that girl was soooo well-written! Definitely not what you'd expect going in, and she won my heart as soon as I read her POV!And the plot! Just awesome! Absolutely loved loved loved this book! ❤❤❤

amazing.
Like the author warned before the book starts, Maxim isn’t an anti-hero, and this is not a story where the hero changes for his woman. It was everything I hoped it would be even though Maxim and Cami are relatively strangers to me.I loved Cami. She was matured, resilient and so sweet. And Maxim Levin- that man need a fire extinguisher. From the first meeting itself there was a slight intrigue between them and I was fascinated by their equation.I loved how their story and romance progressed. They both took the time to learn the pace and then boom 💥 their chemistry just exploded and set the pages on fire. There were some heartbreaking moments in the book and the ending scene was bittersweet but perfect. We also got to see characters from previous books and now I’m so ready for Alek’s book.Tropes:—bodyguard romance.—age gap, forced proximity, one bed.—HEA, kindle Unlimited, safe and recommended. received an advance review copy and I’m leaving this review voluntarily.

Cami ♥️
I actually love the male leads more when I’m reading. But this is different. I love CAMI , the positiveness, her forgiveness, her kindness. They are all the qualities I want to take from her. I love the way Max lives Cami and the possessive side of the male lead is always a turn on for me 😁

She never disappoints me
I read almost all of her books and every book is different and catchy in its own way.. i never took more than a day to finish her book.. the steam, the protective perfect Mafia men, the vulnerable yet strong women, the chemistry.. the list goes on.. one thing is for sure, Michelle Heard never disappoints her readers..

Yet another Incredible Mafia Romance from this Author
I have honestly become addicted to Michelle's men and I don't want a remedy for this addiction too. The whole book is a perfect and splendid work by the author. The plotline didn't lose the connectivity till the Epilogue. In some places when the author forgets the dead... Michelle brought the Emotions wonderfully till the end.Cam - She knows her dad does a lot for her and tries to accept his political position. This girl is adorable. She knows how to maintaining her friends and whom to allow in her life.Max - losing his family could have been really hard on him. But he covers up everything he goes through and that truly felt practical for me. I related to Max even better and loved him for always wanting to protect Cam while he takes a life within seconds. The chemistry between the couple indeed set my Kindle on fire. It gave a passionate touch between them and honestly I enjoyed their whole get together process.I had a fantastic start of the week this book. If Monday's feel hard then this is the right book to read and have a fantastic Monday

A great addition to the series!!
I was eager to dive back into this amazing world Michelle has created. I was engrossed in the read from the first page and lost myself in it. Once again, I was mesmerized with Michelle's writing and the characters.Max is a mystery I was happy to unravel. After getting glimpse of him in Nikolai's book I was intrigued by him and loved getting to know him. Cami on the other hand is one of the sweetest FMC in the series. It was too easy to fall in love with them.Max and Cami deserve each other despite being from different backgrounds. There is an instant spark and there chemistry is sizzling. I loved there interactions and how there relationship developed. I just wanted more of my other favourites to make an appearance.A great addition to the series. I'm eager for Alek's book as he is my favourite from the beginning of the series.

1 star max
I feel like Michelle lost herself throughout this whole enormous series of organized crimes, after the half or even less than that the books just get so exhausting, nothing new. I few like she writes so much passion, but they are just words, a lot of moments, things and even feelings are so over the top and ureal. The plot was nice but it wasn't well developed. One thing I liked right in the beginning was the fact that she was a socialite but not superficial, she had aspirations and she didn't particularly enjoyed shopping, but then after some chpters she was absolutely freaking out because of a dress, I mean.. COME ON. Alpha males are real nice, but there are some limits and I feel like the author crosses them sometimes.. If you wanna know the story anyway because you read everything that Michelle writes or just out of curiosity it is fine, but don't waste your time here, it is not a good body guard romance.

This series is fantastic!!!
This is the 4th book in this new series and This series gets better and better if that is even possible. This is Maxim and Camille story and everything is about to change for them both.Corrupted Royals is book 4 in this series is a mafia, bodyguard romance book and is an age gap romance that has touch her and die vibes and protection/ possessive vibes that I loved.Maxim is the best in the business at what he does and even has hired to protect Cam he gets more than he bargained for and This shocks them both. Max is hired to protect her no matter what and This is just what he does only he is also hiding a secret that he doesn't want her to know.Camille puts on an act in front of all the people outside but inside her home she can be herself completely. Max loves this side of her and relaxed and normal she is, but when the attacker attacks her home he now has to keep her as close as he can.I loved reading about these characters and I loved how much chemistry they had and the connection between them both is sizzling hot. I love all the spice they have and I was gripped until the very end. This story flows throughout perfectly and the way that this author writes and her style is absolutely fantastic andI highly recommend reading this book and I can't wait to read book 5 in this series.

A lovely read.
Max and Cami…. They’re such a cute, almost cheesy couple and I loved them! The story was wonderfully written and there wasn’t unnecessary drama than the delivered portion.Max is protective, possessive and controlling alpha. He has moral compass which in part distinguish him from the others characters in Michelle’s world. That’s kind of fresh air because we have a specific line of view which the author makes us change, creating completely different characters.Cami was so strong and funny but at the same time always realistic and practical. There wasn’t darkness in this story, but there was some action and the spicy scenes where plenty but enough. The banter between them both made me laugh almost through all the book, because they’re hilarious. This read was quick, fantastically handed and it made me disconnect from the real world for few hours. Michelle’s writing style is excellent and it always makes me enjoy each and one of her books.

RESTRAIN ME #4 Corrupted Royals seriesMichelle HeardPOV:DualMaxim & CamilleMaxim Levin, The best assassin for the Russian Bratva. Recluse, cold, set in his ways. When his best friend, Nikolai Vetrov hands him a job as a bodygaurd for a respected politician and businessman's daughter. He's reluctant to take it. He's picturing a spoiled socialite. But when he recognises the woman's picture he owes her, he should stay away from her, he has his reasons to, but he also owes Nikolai. He's just going to have to try to keep his distance from her.Camille DeBois, daughter of Maurice DuBous, politician, businessman, and hopefully the next Prime Minister. She plays the socialite in public, but in private she enjoys binge watching tv, eating snacks, loves food, she enjoys photography.Finding out that her father has hired a bodyguard for her due to threats to her life. She's taken aback by how good looking he is in an intense, godlike way. But he's in her personal, private space twenty four seven.Max preferes solitude. Being around Cami all day, every day until this threat is dealt with, he's learning more about her, is she dissolving his coldness? But there can't ever be anything between them.Cami is also learning more about him, and she's really has to squash these feelings for him, cause nothing can happen between them, men like him don't go for women with her curves like hers. Can they fight their attraction for each other?Who's behind the threat?Cami & Max are adorable in a grumpy vs sunshine way.

Amazing!
I really enjoyed Max and Cami's story. I love both of their characters, most especially Cami. She was so different from all the other socialites and I liked that she was so simple and down to earth. The way she was so confident with her body was so admirable too and her love for food was so enjoyable to read. I loved her relationship with her father it was so healthy, full of love and respect. As for Maxim, I liked his personality too. The way he was a domineering hero but not an annoying one was really fun to read. Though I know eventually he'll give up denying his feelings for Cami, I still swooned when he finally acted on it. He was so alpha in all the right ways, and I'm glad that the push and pull didn't drag for too long. They were so good and hot together. I loved it even more that they have a healthy relationship, there wasn't major drama involved in their story. As for the villain, I think he got off easily with what he did. It also made sense because he was only mentioned after Max found out his name. So too much spotlight won't be necessary. The "secret" too was somewhat glossed over. At the beginning it was like a huge thing that Max regretted for a whole decade, but when the time for them to actually talk about it, it comes off like a trivial thing. That nothing Max and Cami have to worry about at all.Overall, I enjoyed this book and totally would recommend it. So far from this series, Cami comes as my second favorite FMC after Abi.
