This leash is definitely an improvement from the last one I had. It’s especially good for medium- large breed dogs. My boy is 80 pounds of muscle & this leash feels sturdy when I need to keep him close. I like how the handle has the cushion, it makes it comfortable to hold. Also the attached poop bag holder is cool! I’ve had it since Christmas so I’ll definitely wear it in more during springtime but it’s great quality.

Have been using this bad boy for 4 years without issue. The latch still works perfectly, and our dog hasn't managed to destroy it at all. She definitely has tried chewing on it but it's surprisingly durable, there's no real damage on it after all this time. It's survived thunderstorms, hundreds of jogs, and our dog is quite the puller to boot.The only issue we had was that after a while, the black part of the handle did eventually rip off...but when I say "a while", I mean over 2 years after owning it, and it's still perfectly comfortable to hold without that piece. So all in all, a really fantastic leash that I highly recommend.

I have a 91lb energetic pup and we have been using this leash since he was a puppy.Easy to hold and handle. Very sturdy.But I would recommend so check inside the plastic covered part. Last one we got, stitch was very weak and did not last long

We needed a replacent leash for our 15 lbs dog. There were so many to choose from but I'm so glad I found this site & this leash! Great quality, great clasp nicely padded handle & at the best price!This will last us a long time and I really like that it is round and reflective for our nightly walks. I got this leash to replace an older retractable leash that had a thin cable. My dog likes to tug and I was worried it might eventually snap on me, especially since parts of it had gotten knotted up somehow. This leash is super strong and sturdy, and it has a nice loop with soft material making it easy to grip. The loops and connection points seem strong, and the rope material has help up great so far. Bonus points for the poop bag holder! Definitely recommend this leash.

My teenage Bull Lurcher occasionally starts mouthing and pulling on the lead if he gets frustrated.It only lasts for a couple of seconds but he has teeth like a guillotine!Previously leads have been damaged in seconds. I got fed up replacing the same brand.So, I did a bit of research and BAAPET had a good name for more durable leads.He's grabbed onto it a few times and not left a mark on it. I'm not saying it's chew proof, I'm sure he could destroy it if left unchecked. Bulls pride themselves in destroying the indestructible.But while you're training your dog not to chew on the lead, by distraction with treats or whatever? This is up to the job imo.Its well made, I can't see any shoddy workmanship or cheap inferior parts.The rope is thick but flexible and as I say, has been between his back teeth and come out unscathed.The clip is big and robust with a good strong spring, first thing that I checked.Handle is comfortable, sleeved with soft padding.Joins look well secure and fixed with hard plastic guards.I chose orange to compliment his dark Brindle coat. It's loud! But I like it.Update. I've bought 2 more while at a cheaper price. If I don't need them I'll pass them on. I have faith in this lead.

mostly dogs like huskies or pitbulls gsd, any hyper or medium to large dogs they pull us like anything ! and for that this is non breakable and best!

I have yet to try it out, but it looks like good value for money. Arrived on time!
