A lot of fun
My 9 year old loved putting this together - pieces are smaller than the average Lego, none the less my son loved it. He does put together 18+ legos all the time for reference on difficulty

Nice alt to LEGO
Would give it a higher rating but we are missing pieces and not sure how to try to get those due to instructions only showing how to build.

Very Difficult!
They didn’t say it was miniature pieces! I’m missing a lot of pieces! And it very difficult to put together. Very unsatisfying…….Im missing entire bags and having to piece together this project. I’m thoroughly disappointed! ☹️

Difficult to assemble, small pieces
While the finished product looks nice, the assembly wasn't a lot of fun, unfortunately. The pieces are smaller than your regular LEGO pieces, which can make assembly a bit challenging. They also don't always fit quite as well as LEGOs do, which means you have to push and nudge them quite a bit before they snap in place. This set also doesn't use LEGO's interlocking design, which makes LEGO structures very stable. Several assembly steps require you to gently attach flimsy-piece-one to flimsy-piece-two.My biggest gripe with this set, though, is the manual:Firstly, each assembly step contains a lot of pieces and a lot of steps. LEGO has a nice way of breaking things down more, making it easier to follow the assembly.Secondly, and more importantly, the manual grays out the already assembled parts of the piece. While initially I thought that'd be helpful since only the new pieces are shown in color - and in a few cases it is -, it is most often rather distracting and confusing since it can be challenging to keep track of where things need to go, especially when the main piece is rotated between steps. And while this set is probably safe to use for kids 8 and up (as the website says), I don't think your average 8-year old can assemble this on their own without help.

Not full Lego size. Which I actually prefer
Overall I love it. I prefer the smaller bricks, even if they add a little challenge. Instructions were well made.Interesting thing is it is complete after going through bags 6. But I have 2 bags labeled 8?My only negative is there are no Instructions for installing the lights. And unlike other sets, they are not light bricks. Just a string of battery power micro leds.
