Spellbinders BetterPress Letterpress Machine/for Cardmaking and Paper Crafts/BP-001

I love the Betterpress! SO simple! Select the plate and ink it. Select cotton paper in A2 or A7 size. Sandwich together and run thru my big shot die machine. Cards come out like magic. You can actually feel the impressions on the cotton paper. Makes beautiful cards. The only thing I didn't know before hand, this process takes lots and lots of ink. So be sure to purchase an ink pad and the bottle of ink to refill the pad. if you are thinking about getting one, go for it. You will be happy with the results.

Purchased for myself, a want not a need. Price much more affordable on Amazon than any of the craft websites. Works as described. There's a learning curve just have patience. Once you master the process, the results are beautiful. No need for special papers or ink. Used my archiveal inks and bristol smooth cardstock. Works well.

I was hesitant to jump into this new cardmaking product but finally decided to give it a try.Very pleased with the results, was easy to use and everyone was amazed at the Christmas cards they received.

well worth the investment for my project of creating wedding invitations. very excited to put it to use for dye cutting and other things, but works amazing for letterpress.

I love it! I have been contemplating getting this tool for a very long time. The price and free shipping was a done deal for me! I use it yesterday and made a beautiful card with the metal die included. Beyond happy.

I had seen many videos about how using the better press is full proof, so I was excited to try it. My results were not very good, very different from the results YouTubers were showing. I tried a different ink than the one that came with the machine and it worked much better. The ink pad that came with it was very dry leading to the poor results. I had to buy a reinker for the better press ink in order to get it to work correctly.Another thing I have found is that as you ink up the press plates, the ink gets on the base and it doesn’t clean off well. It would be nice if the plate didn’t stain. I have tried placing a piece of plastic over the plate, but have had mixed results. The plastic keeps the plate from staining, but it doesn’t lie flat and will leave ink on my cardstock. I assume some of this is user error, but it is not as easy to use as I had thought it would be.With a fully juiced up ink pad, this system does make nice prints on the cardstock.
