The best Guardians
Okay, folks, grab your emotional support raccoons and prepare for a cosmic hug that'll leave you sniffling into your space-popcorn. Guardians of the Galaxy 3? More like Guardians of the Feels-y Galaxy, am I right? I went in expecting a fun space romp, and I came out needing a group therapy session with a talking tree.First off, let's address the elephant in the room, or rather, the talking raccoon with a tragic backstory. Rocket's arc? I'm not crying, you're crying! Okay, maybe I'm crying a little. Or a lot. It's like they took all the adorable, sarcastic energy of Rocket and then punched you in the gut with his backstory. But in a good way! Like a warm, fuzzy, gut-punch of emotional growth. And the rest of the Guardians? They're basically a dysfunctional family who communicates through sarcasm, questionable dance moves, and the occasional heroic sacrifice. It's like watching a group of your weirdest, most lovable friends navigate the universe while trying to figure out if they should hug it out or blast something with a laser cannon.Groot? He's gone from "I am Groot" to "I am Groot, you beautiful, magnificent space-flower!" And honestly, I'm here for it. He's like that kid who suddenly hits a growth spurt and starts speaking in eloquent metaphors. It's both adorable and slightly terrifying. And the music? Don't even get me started. It's like a mixtape curated by a cosmic DJ who knows exactly how to make you dance, cry, and then dance while crying. It's a symphony of nostalgia, heartbreak, and pure, unadulterated joy.Guardians of the Galaxy 3 is a rollercoaster of emotions, a cosmic ballet of laughter and tears. It's a reminder that even the most dysfunctional families can find love, redemption, and the perfect dance move. And if that doesn't warm your heart, I don't know what will. Five stars, and a box of tissues. You'll need them.

Sadly, the music was not for us this time, but worth adding to library
Pretty good overall for the movie for the most part, worth adding to our digital library. Many of the funny/scenes seemed forced this time around. It could be it was just us, or they were just not funny. The music was not toe tapping or sing along for us at all like the previous movies, why they left out any of the signature music until the credits is beyond me.We did not go to the theater so we just saw it on our home theater, hence the later review just of the Bluray/digital but 130" with surround sound makes it really nice in the comfort of your home. Digital redeemed easily and played back flawlessly on VUDU. Not seeing much new of the focus character of the plot was a bummer if they are your favorite character. I was threatened with losing my review privileges so I will not go here, but during a trying few last years, a home theater was a God Send. And not having political societal crap thrown at you blatantly was refreshing.Spoiler alert:The plot was a good one just not executed well for us. I am nitpicking of course. But the nice Nebula does not play well in this movie for us. I will keep it short as I do not read long reviews but a friend really liked it and did not agree, so I just wanted to point that out. The relationship of 2 main characters was a total strain on the plot and viewing pleasure. I guess they needed conflict somewhere and they chose that route. It has been a couple weeks since watching it so I will not give a detailed review at this point. But I will say it was pretty non political (IF I CAN EVEN SAY THAT) I would advise EVERYONE to watch the credits to the end, there is some contradictory information that has been reported. It's in bold lettering.

Funny and tragic, but the bad guys die.
As newspaper reviews mentioned, this movie shares a lot of Rocket's backstory. It is not a happy story, and if you can imagine how cute baby raccoons are, you can see where this sad story will go. But no spoilers. If you are tender-hearted like me, and you love animals like me, either have tissues handy, or just don't watch this. My adult daughter will not be watching it, so I did tell her some spoilers that I won't share here. But the ending is ultimately happy; a couple of characters find redemption, others find their true destinies, and Groot says....more. Even though my heart broke (no main character dies), and I also laughed (but not like during "Thor: Love and Thunder": that was a laugh-fest for me!), I cannot say it was a bad movie or don't watch it. Do watch it, because the ending IS happy, but just like real life, you have to got through some hard stuff to get to the good stuff. Will I watch it again? Maybe, but not for a while.

It serves my purpose
I was skeptical of this purchase as I have been weed whacking a longtime with no issues. I had 2x cataract surgeries last year and thought I should protect my sight.Construction seems good along with the fit. The mesh protection is good, Seeing through it is different. The chin strap helps keep everything in place. I haven’t used the ear muffs as my wacker is electric and isn’t that loud. I would imagine with gas it is good( I wish you could take them off and use separately)I have yet to use this for chainsaw cutting which will come later on.

Best Marvel movie in years!
My daughter saw this before me and said it was actually a good Marvel movie. I saw it and agreed - far above their recent disasters. I rank it as my second favorite of the three Guardians of the Galaxy movies and it is worth owning on disc.
