I recently purchased 2 covers, 1 for carry on and 1 for large luggage. The very 1st time that I used it on the carry on that I checked in on a Delta flight to Superbowl, it was lost. The first leg of the flight and I was shocked that it was completely gone. I do wanted to have this work on my Delsey new luggage. I have not tried the large cover yet but don't have much faith that it will remain on the luggage. I read other reviews that had the same issue as I. I thought it was a freak thing that it was unusable apparently NOT. I bought this brand specifically for Delsey luggage and figured it was more money than other covers so it must be a better quality cover; not true! I don't recommend unless you like throwing your money away.

My husband had used his attractive, new luggage one time, and it ended up with black marks on it. Before our next trip, I also had pretty, new luggage, and I didn't want the same thing to happen so bought this. When he saw how well it fit the luggage and relatively easy it was to put on and take off, he had me order a set for him too.We've now had 5 flights on an extended trip. Afterward, there were black marks on the luggage covers (which can be wiped off) but it showed us how many black marks would have been on our luggage without them. I think they're worth it for the following reasons:1. Obviously, these protect your luggage from dirt and scuffs.2. They're waterproof, which is handy if you have to haul your luggage in the rain.3. They make your luggage easy to spot on the conveyer belt.4. This doesn't hide the attractiveness of your luggage.5. It wouldn't prevent theft of your belongings, but it adds another step before someone can get into your luggage, so it seems it would deter it and cause a thief to head for an easier target.

Fits perfectly. Bought this for my wife to protect her new WHITE luggage. Did the job and she has no problem getting it on and off. Very secure.

I purchased the clear cover for my carry-on since can’t always tell when it will be snatched at plane side. It is a very thick durable plastic that has performed fantastically! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! I have even had others compliment it and ask where they could get one.

The cover slid on easily over my large Delsey suitcase and looked terrific. I wrapped a wide ribbon around the suitcase and fastened it with a safety clip, then slid the cover over. The suitcase was easy to spot, secure and looked elegant. Unfortunately on first use the top seam did tear, but stayed in tack enough to make it through the trip successfully. The white suitcase remained clean and undamaged. The cover, on the other hand, was filthy and had some kind of grease on it. Maybe from the airport belts. I was able to easily clean the cover, fold it up and store for future use. I will have to take another look to see if I can duct tape the rip or determine if I need to toss and repurchase. It did save my suitcase but could be a one trick pony. However, I am really happy I bought it to save the drama of dealing with a messed up new suitcase and give me peace of mind. I will most likely buy a cover for my carry on for my next airplane trip (not car travel).
