I don't like all of Barbell's protein bars but these one's are the best I've had out of any protein bar yet. Excellent flavor and mouthfeel. Not chalky or gritty like some others. Wife also enjoys these and she doesn't like any bars. My only complaint is they are often unavailable!

I've had soft caramel choco, soft caramel banana, and soft minty chocolate repeatedly. I like the flavors and wish I could give a good review. But the quality control process for these bars is absolute trash. At least half of the bars in every case I've had have melted/oozed caramel and are a soft mess. Happened in spring, happened in winter. My last box had 2 or 3 intact bars out of 12.

I got two different kinds including the caramel choco pack and the variety pack, and I did not receive everything I was supposed to in the variety one. I opened the box to about 9 bars instead of 12, so obviously I’m disappointed with that. But anyways, here’s what I think about them allVariety Pack (Cookies and Cream, Chocolate Dough, Caramel Cashew, Salty Peanut): I like salty peanut the most, it tastes like snickers and genuinely doesn’t taste like protein bars. Caramel cashew tastes similar but no crunchy peanuts in it. Chocolate dough is like a dense dark chocolate fudge bar with crispies on top, and cookies and cream has the same and tastes like cookies and cream obviously. They all have those crispies on them although, the crispies are only crunchy and flavorful on cookies and cream as well as chocolate dough, which honestly I don’t like. It’s a nice texture but it tastes like salty coconut? The crunchies on those two kind of ruin it for me. But otherwise I think they are good.Caramel Choco: Its suuuuuper dense. These are pretty good, they taste like chewy Twix without the wafer, and are very filling. When I tried it I ate half after eating nothing all day and it suppressed my hunger. They’re pretty yummy

I’ve tried just about all of them. The birthday cake was way too sweet. Would not purchase that flavor again. They do not ship well during warm months. They arrive melted and sticks to the paper. Trader Joe’s and HEB sell various flavors. But these are my absolute favorite protein bars. No chalky taste.

My daughter loves these. I bought them for her to have as a snack at work. I’m just inclined to continue ordering them simply because they are very expensive, but they are delicious.Dollar for dollar or there more than likely not a lot more than what you spend in break room vending machine. Price wise.

This is my first time buying this brand so I was a little concerned about the taste but it was really good. I bought the combo box so i got total of 40 bars in 4 different flavors and all were good. The reason for my 3 star rating is because I have gone through approximately 1/2 of the 40 bars and at least 10 have been a complete mess when I opened them. They must have been stored in to high a temp and melted or something because you would not pick it up and eat it. Note the picture which is typical condition of the bar and didn't matter the flavor. Pretty disappointed because the taste is good, condition is terrible
