These hood shocks were really easy to install, and I’m thrilled to say my days of worrying about knots on the back of my head while checking the oil are over!Pro tip: If you use a pair of vice grips to lock one side while you remove the other, one person can install these solo—no extra hands required.Just a quick heads-up: if you’re on the shorter side (like my wife), you might find it tricky to close the hood from the side. With these new shocks, you really need to pull the hood straight down, and reaching it when fully open can be a stretch.For most, though, these shocks are a game-changer—just be ready to lend a hand to any vertically challenged co-pilots!
