Professional-grade blow dryer. Light enough to be able to hold all day long. You’ll think it’s cheap because it’s so light, but it’s quite the opposite. It’s a pro-grade blow dryer. Variety of speeds, warm and cold options out of the dryer. Very fast to dry hair. Has a cold shot button which is an instant hot-to-cold burst, which is instant and works extremely well as needed. Red light indicates ‘heat’ which has 3 different settings. The blue indicates ‘speed’ from low, medium, and high. The cord is tangle-resistant and of good quality. The dryer has a good grip that conforms to the hand shape well. It’s not painful to hold for long periods of time, so it’s designed well. It comes with ‘reverse cleaning’, an ability that cleans the dryer out by reversing the air, hard blowing out the dust, etc.hence cleaning it. Check out my video showing it working. It’s worth every penny if you hold your blow dryer a lot throughout the day. Reliable. The company stands by replacing their products under warranty without hassle. I’ve done an RMA with Bionics and they send a brand-new product standing by their products. I’d recommend this to anyone but mostly hair stylist looking for a powerful professional grade blower.

I am impressed. I have been holding a blow dryer in my hand for 25 years - and this is a really nice dryer. I have no experience with any other top of the line dryer - but I splurged on this one when it was on a great sale , in Mother’s Day … and I have no regrets. I watch as this dryer turns the hair smooth and shiny faster than I have ever dried anyone’s hair before. I love the locking button- you can lock it on med heat / high air flow and not accidentally turn it to fire mode. It’s incredibly light weight and easy to have a conversation over while blowing out the hair doo!

Light, easy to hold & very powerful dryer

I paid nearly $300 for this hair dryer expecting premium quality and durability. Unfortunately, after only three months, it started having a delay when turning on — it would take about five seconds to start. Soon after, it stopped heating properly. In less than six months, the dryer completely stopped working. When I contacted customer service to file a warranty claim, I was told that the filter showed “lack of maintenance,” which made the product ineligible for warranty coverage — even though the dryer was practically new and used under normal conditions. For such an expensive product, this explanation felt unreasonable and disappointing. I expected much better reliability and support at this price point. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this product.

The Bio Ionic 10X (C model) truly stands out. It’s incredibly lightweight, which makes a huge difference during long styling days—no more arm fatigue -weighs equivalent to thee candy chocolate bars🍫🍫🍫 The airflow is powerful yet controlled, cutting drying time nearly in half without frying the hair. What really sets it apart is how it leaves the hair feeling: smooth, shiny, and hydrated rather than dry or brittle. The MoistureHeat/Mineral Complex technology really seems to work; even my clients with coarse or frizzy hair notice the difference. It’s also quiet, ergonomic, and energy-efficient, which makes it a pleasure to use all day.

This is y second BioIonic dryer. This one is great for the ability to change temperatures and 'lock in' a temperature. This one doesn't blow air as forcefully as the other one. Nice small size for travel.

Great job dries really fast

I am obsessed with this hairdryer. It’s super quiet, incredibly lightweight, and shockingly powerful. I have long, thick hair that normally holds onto moisture, so a rough dry with other dryers takes me around 28-33 minutes. With this one? Seventeen minutes! I actually timed it because I couldn’t believe how fast it worked. Not only was it quick, but I had zero frizz or flyaways. I could have walked straight out the door with just the rough dry. When I went in with a round brush, I achieved a full-on salon-quality blowout at home. My hair feels silky, smooth, and soft—like I paid someone else to do it. This sleek little powerhouse is amazing. Truly. Perfect for the busy holiday season when you want great hair without spending forever styling it. Highly recommend!

Love the Smart X dryer. I had the Dyson and was never a real fan. This however, is a game changer! Sleek, quiet, and powerful! Will get this one over and over again!

I’m updating my review after speaking with the company. I had purchased this in April 2025 and it stopped working within a few months. I submitted a warrantee claim and sent the dryer to bioionic in the U.S. (this cost me $62 through fedex). They are sending me a replacement dryer, which I am happy about since it’s quite expensive. Apparently the dryer went into protection mode due to not being clean enough, even though we thought we were cleaning it enough. It seems to need more cleanings than a typical dryer. So if you buy one, make sure you clean it quite often.
