If you have the old style DeWalt cordless tools with the horrible battery design good news! With this adapter you can use the new batteries with your old tools. Yes it makes the tool a little bulkier but on my DeWalt saws it works great and you hardly notice the extra bulk. When using it on drills it does allow the drill to stand up but it adds to the size so I only use this on my larger drills .The adapter itself is light but does the job. Do far its been very durable and I just leave it on when I'm not using the tool. Prefect way to resuscitate your old DeWalts and save some money to buy some more.

I was given a Milwaukee off-brand cordless paint sprayer and I have DeWalt tools but no Milwaukee batteries, I used this adapter with a DeWalt flexvolt battery on the Milwaukee tool that I was given and it works just fine and feels nice and solid battery clicks in well and it clicks to the device well Good product.

For this review item was tested with a Milwaukee LED floodlight. I have no experience with using it with a power tool.Fit and finish was fine, slid on and off with ease locked on tight. Function however was a different story. I compared both a milwaukee 2amp battery with a 2, 5, and 6amp dewalt battery. In all tests the light brightness using the product and dewalt batteries was at least half the milwaukee battery. In addition the light was a "fuzzy yellow orange" rather than the bright white light when using the milwaukee battery. I returned the item, even though cheap it did not even come close to being acceptable.

This adapter is awesome. It allows me to use my sawzall batteries with my drill!

I have 5 Dewalt 20v 3amp batteries and only 1 Milwaukee battery that came with my cordless nailer. I really didn’t want to spend over $100 on a backup battery when I just spent $400 on a nailer. I bought this thinking if it works I’ll save a lot of money and if it doesn’t, I can return it. Fortunately, it works perfectly and doesn’t add too much extra bulk or weight to the nailer. I’ll purchase again of it ends up going bad at some point.
