I couldn't break the habit of accidentally turning off my porch light fixtures that have been replaced with wifi bulb cams and need to be powered up 24/7. Problem solved! Nice quality, almost unnoticeable and simple installation.

I have a few of these from another vendor around the house Same thin plastic quality so handle carefully. If child proofing, it will work. Does what it is supposed to do. No kids, however we use them to prevent accidentally flipping 'off' the switches we need the power permanently on for our smart bulbs and/or dusk-to-dawn bulbs. My husband accidentally turns on or off the garage switch when in the garage then our dusk-to-dawn outdoor garage lights doesn't come on. With this little plastic cover on the switch, we no longer have incidents with him flipping the wrong switch! Thin plastic material but it works, locks switch from moving. Very strong hands or if aggressive can accidentally come off if flipped in error. Still a good buy for it's intended purpose.

it doesn’t fit on the switch. I can’t get it on there. It doesn’t work.

NOTE: The problem I ran into is not this product's fault. This review is to give you a chance to check your switch to make sure you have the needed clearance before purchasing.I like the clean look of this shield and how much smaller it is than other switch shields. These might work ok if the switch has enough clearance between the switch and wall plate, but the one switch I needed this cover for didn't work.The shield has a tab that is supposed to slide down between the switch and the cover plate. The picture that I attached is not the best but the arrow is pointing to the tab. You can see that it will not slide down between the switch and the cover.I ended up cutting the tab off and pushing the cover as far down as possible but if you flip the switch with just a little pressure the shield will come off.I'll try to find another set of switches that fit in an outlet cover and see if there may be room for these shields to work. I'll update my review if I do.

Item works as advertised, but with 3-way switches, the tolerance for the toggle shield is limited. Pushing it all the way into the switch-plate actually forces the switch into an “off” condition, when the intent is for the switch to be locked “on”.See photos.

I have exterior cameras that are connected to my exterior lights, but someone (I won’t say who) kept turning off the switch. The cover was easy to snap into place and it doesn’t stick out visually. I purchased the clear plastic version.

Totally easy to install no tools, necessary! I used it to cover the switch for my security lights! The only mistake I made, which is not the products mistake is they got the clear ones and if you drop it in Carpet, they’re hard to fin😂

Will not securely snap into place to sit flush with my Leviton light switches, in accordance with the instructions or video.
