I can only finish the first five chapters! This book is for my B-ball-inspired son. One can imagine the anxiety of a teenaged boy to read this book and have no fingerprint mark on it (I was warned). : DFrom what I've gathered, Mr. James's life is a predominant factor in life. There are many starving artists in our world. He is blessed with a mom who quickly identified her issues and snapped into retrieving her life and her son's life to address poverty (and other issues). Thank G-d for her awakening and motivation. Because it is her awakening that helped get real "good friends" into the life of this amazingly blessed and skilled young man.Some people never recover from their oppressives (whether it is drugs, prostitution, gambling, etc.).LeBron has a wonderful, loving family and I'm sure a host of good friends.In five chapters, I received a lot of information. It was difficult for me to put down the book. If I can finish reading the remaining 7 or 8 chapters, I can write a more comprehensive review.You got my point! It's a well-written biography of the life of Mr. LeBron James -- A Highly motivated and most inspiring look into a fantastic basketball player in the 21st century.This book is highly recommended for scholastic libraries throughout the world!

I have always followed his basketball career, I am blessed to watch a gifted player. Now I understand him even better. It's a book... Bought it for my niece and was received in good condition.

Awesome book. Was a gift for a student. As basketball picks up international popularity, young men around the world are interested in the pre-NBA journey and cultural background of U.S. players. As an English teacher, I also enjoyed using the book as teaching material with it's rich yet uncomplicated text. Makes reading fun, challenging yet accessible for ESL learners. I highly recommend the book for both personal enjoyment as well as teaching purposes.

David Lee Morgan writes a compelling story how Lebron overcame adversity during his childhood. Key figures, iboth family members and mentors, helped guide him academically and athletically. The reader gets a true sense of who Lebron is as an athlete and person. My ten year old son could not put the book down,

I purchased this book to encourage my middle/high school special education students to read. I must admit that when I first added the book to the classroom library all the students did was look at the pictures, but eventually they began reading and became hooked. The best way to get reluctant readers to read is to find a book that interests them. This book really caught on!

Gave this book as a gift to grandson, He has yet to comment.I think he liked it, I will check with him.

I bought this for a young man who is a huge fan of LeBron. He is in middle school and can earn extra credit by reading books so I thought why not get him something he would be interested in.

when i received the book the condition of it was not at its best, but at the same time it did not affect me when i was reading it.
