Perfect for Mac!
If like me you were second guessing whether or not to buy this, buy it! Very fast, so so much space, beautiful design. I got 100gb moved in there within minutes and even I was shocked. Only downside it does heat up when in use but honestly, you won't notice it till you're ejecting it. Works brilliantly on MacBook.

Fast read/writes and sturdy
Previously used a Sandisc drive that stated speeds of up to 150mb/s Found out the Sandisc was referring to READ speeds, not WRITE speeds. Look carefully when you are choosing a USB drive- this detail is sometimes hidden/ not always clear. Transferring data ONTO it (writing data) was desperately slow- took HOURS (including overnight) to transfer 1000 photos onto it. This drive however is very very fast with read and write speeds far in excess of most other USB drives, especially for the price. Having USB a and c is perfect too for compatibility between my iPhone and PC I think the metal shell is actually protective against overheating for drives with very fast transfer rates. It feels really good and sturdy. Not too heavy- even when plugged into my iPhone. You can probably get even faster transfer (thunderbolt ports/cables/drives) but they cost much more, and remember your port (the thing you plug it in to) has to be compatible too. For some people their computer port will be the limiting factor, even if the spend extra money on a fast USB. 5* for price, usability and speed. Really happy I purchased.

Solid drive, very quick speeds considering it's size
The drive replaced my SanDisk Ultra Luxe 512GB, which is a great drive but suffers from poor read/writes and the fact it heats up to the point where you could burn yourself. This is due to the all-metal design and this design being used as the heatsink.bu I had been looking for a drive with both USB-C and A like my SanDisk with high read/write speeds like an external SSD. I have a Samsung T7 and it's great, very fast and just works every time and stays fairly cool even when writing hundreds of GB to it. My only issue with it was that I had to carry a cable with me everywhere, so it's not practical in my case. To clarify, you'd have to carry two cables if you want USB-C and A. Again, not practical. My SanDisk Ultra Luxe solved the cable issue, but then lacked in speed and intense heat. This is where this drive comes in. It retains the USB-C and A functionality while also retaining good speeds. An example of this is when I tried transferring a 110GB TV series to the drive. This is a Blu-Ray copy so naturally it would be quite high. It managed to do it in 7 minutes give or take. Seriously impressive. This was over the USB-C port plugged into the TB4 port on my XPS 13, USB-A performs similarly. This is around 300-400MB/s, yes full megabytes a second. Heat wise, it does heat up for sure. Though, nowhere near as much as my SanDisk drive. I can actually touch it without fear of burning myself. That said, it does get warm but it's manageable. It's size is considerably larger than my SanDisk, which is tiny in comparison. However, there's more space to dissipate heat as well as having the internals of an SSD rather than the conventional memory chips you'd get in a flash drive. It's smaller than my T7. Though, slightly slower than the T7 although it's not an issue. My only issue with it is that it will write very slowly after a certain point, I'm assuming this is DRAM cache or something (can't remember of the top of my head). It transferred my 110GB TV series at 1080p just fine, but doing it again it would go fast to begin with but then slow down to around less than 100MB/s. This could be an issue for some people. Now, I don't know what causes this as my T7 doesn't have this issue. It could be heat related or the DRAM thing. Overall, if you can buy it for a bargain then do it. It's great, I have the 512GB one and it performs great for what I need it for. The TV series transfer was just a test of read/write as I actually use it as my USB of tools like Windows ISOs, drivers etc and its extremely fast at installing Windows on a PC. This is practically an SSD in your pocket with no wires. I'm fairly certain you could use this as a Windows-To-Go drive with how fast it is. 8/10 for me

Good, solid all-rounder that is easily partitioned.
I needed a Windows 11 restore kit. This unit is both USB 3 and USB C. It fits the bill for my workflow nicely, as I can plug it in to almost any computer I little heavy for it's size, but big enough not to lose it easily. Good, solid all-rounder that is easily partitioned.

A remarkable compact SSD which solves the backup problem at a reasonable price
We've got used to incredible amounts of data storage in tiny spaces and at low prices. Obviously there are much smaller units to store this vast amount of data but this apparently has the access time and (hopefully) the durability and reliability of an SSD in a small enough form factor, and the convenience of both the old and new USB standard connectors built in to an apparently bullet-proof case, making it ideal for all sorts of uses, particularly data transfer between devices. If it lasts, and there's no way to know with a device like this except that it exudes solidity, it will have been a great buy. As far as heat is concerned, it gets mildly warm in the quiescent state, I don't yet know about under data transfer conditions, but the case won't melt whatever happens!

Revised Review
Plugged this in straight from the box and got a steady 350 mb/s on USB-C and 250 mb/s on USB-A with 200 GByte + tranasferring, so quite happy with this purchase. Small invidual 1GB files can hit 500mb/s. I use as a backup device and speed has not dropped even when over 70% full. As mentioned in other reviews it is metal and could be quite heavy if left sticking out of a raised port, I used a hub on the desktop so had no issues with the weight at all. I will update in a few months if speed is maintained. Update December 2025 The read and write speed seem to hold up for almost 2 years before the device started to give little errors. Now today it has failed completely. I can see the device but cannot open, delete any files on it. A format fails with a device error, and attempts to delete the partition fail with a hardware error. All in all it is dead after only 2 years.

Really fast, speeds are pretty much as described, 400+, and decently maintained even when transferring over 50Gb. Build quality is also great as well, super sturdy

Dual-Anschluss: Flexibel nutzbar an USB-A und USB-C Geräten.
