have to say ,only recently used this product on compression fittings ,and the reason to use this time ,was because of not enough room to use blow torch on end feed fittings ,and was used on central heating compression fittings in a upstairs house ,where access would be hard after carpets down , so extra protection and used on the olive , and gave time to cure ,before filling the system ,but have to agree with the reviews i read ,easy to apply and good sealant , and advice to read instructions before use , have to add i preferred to use the compression fitting, rather than push-fit fittings, which i could have done if wanted but dont trust them as much through time and giving way on the seal

Well, if you are reading this then chances are you have a leak and trying to fix it.I had three… under my swim spa. All of them were slow leaks and not spraying pressure. I think that’s important to note.For me the solution was this sealant together with tesa Extra Power Extreme Repair Tape and a new clamp. See photo.Don’t expect this sealant on its own to stop a leak, the continuous water flow will break through before the sealant dries.First I used some of the tape and a second clamp to slow down the leak. Then I applied a generous portion of this and then wrapped the silicone repair tape as strong as I could over it. A bit fiddly as the sealant is slippery and you have to stretch the tape.Finally I applied the new clamp and job done. Repeatable as I fixed three leaks this way. Good luck. Hope this review helps.
