I bought these to help identify the four different Australorp chicks we have in our flock. The others are easily identifiable, but I'm admittedly a weirdo who has named them all and it got tough once they were fully feathered.The size appears to be perfect for 7+ week old standard-sized chickens, and they don't appear to bother the birds at all! I was concerned about potential pecking because it's "new" and chickens are smart and also obsessive, but they instantly accepted their new jewelry in stride.They appear to be really durable, which is nice since putting them on the chickens was a bit of a hassle. Not necessarily a complaint--I don't want them to fall off and have to put them back on--but it's a two person job. One holds the bird, the other slides the clip into itself. Then it's a breeze!Overall I'd say I'm pleased! The only complaint I have is that there are few color options. But where I technically needed more than four, we made it work well enough.

Young quail kick them off. Haven’t put them on the adult jumbo quail but they click good and seem like they’ll work just fine.

These were fine for bigger birds I think I ordered wrong. No big deal. I sent them back. Cool product if I could have used them I definitely would have.

Easy to clip on. Definitely recommend sliding their little feet through like a sock, because there’s not a lot of give. They have been on our quail for a month now, and they stay on the quail but do not harm them in any way.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:They are not for full size turkeys only teens and below!

Hard to get on the quail legs. Hard to snap on the leg once to you do get it on there. Then fell off before I could even get them to their new pen. So all that work was a big failure.

I originally ordered 20mm but those were way too big for my chickens. They are 5 weeks old so I sent them back and ordered 16mm and those are perfect with room to grow and I could fit my phone number on them. They pecked at them for a bit, I gave them some treat feed and now they’re fine haha definitely great value for the price and the quality is nice as well.

Hard plastic only use on large birds next time will buy multiple sizes to gradually grow with birds otherwise works on current adult birds
