I bought this book because I wanted to know more about this type of diet. The book is written in a simple way. and clearly, inside it explains what the Mediterranean diet is, what it's for... it offers many delicious dishes that can be adapted to the Mediterranean diet, such as pasta with tomato and basil, spanish paella and greek salad. Additionally, the Mediterranean diet encourages moderate consumption of red wine, which can be a delightful accompaniment to a meal.In a nutshell, the Mediterranean diet is a healthy, sustainable and delicious eating pattern that anyone looking to improve their health and well-being can adopt. However, it is important to remember that the Mediterranean diet is not a panacea for all health problems and should be supplemented with an active lifestyle and good sleep hygiene.

Disappointing
Probably the last time I will buy anything promoted by Amazon. This book has zero pictures and every other recipe asks for preprocessed ingredients such as packed soups or spice mixes which, at least in my opinion, is besides the point of owning a cook book. A lot of the listed ingredients are also brand specific to the US only.
