HOLY CRAP! This stripper is no joke and is a total game changer! I just received this and it was right out of the box ready to use. I had been on the fence about buying this style stripper until a recent trip to a scrapyard swayed me, an employee was stripping small bits of Romex to add value to their product! I had a manual crank style that I would power with a drill and made a lot of money with that, but it had many limitations. I had to constantly adjust the stripping depth, it required me to also run the drill, the wire would slip out of the groove often, the wire had to be almost perfect before running through the machine. I'm sure that I missed out on hundreds do dollars because it wasn't easy to strip and sent it away as a less valuable product. There are plenty of videos documenting its use, its super heavy, it's got the ability to be a bit chattery and loud. It came in a wooden shipping crate which I'm going to beef up and that will be the stripper home when not in use. Hindsight says I should have bought this years ago (as well as a cordless bandsaw) With premium copper wire selling for $5.00 a pound, this tool is a must have to easily extract the most value from your scrap.

So the main reason I got this tripper was the strip 500 MCM and 350 MCM and it worked fantastic. I also had a bunch of small rolls of number 12 stranded and I set them up on a ladder with a piece of half-inch conduit going through and it ate the whole roll. Split it on the first time I definitely suggest that you backed the blade tensioners all the way out and run a small pieces through to get your stripping debt right and that’ll keep the blade sharp as well as not as much wear and tear on your gearbox. Also, it comes with oil and it comes with grease on there but two preventative maintenance tips I got depending on how much you’re using it to look to make sure checking for grease and oil before you use.

Item came when they said it would, tracking sucked pretty bad, for how heavy duty the packaging was it still got damaged in shipping or packaging

Oh my! This machine is a beast! Made some adjustments and off to stripping wire I went. This machine is extremely durable, we'll built and I wish I would of ordered this machine instead of the other motorized stripper that was a piece of crap. Kudos to the seller, arrived with no damages, super well packed for shipping and it arrived way ahead of schedule! The wood crate it was shipped in is now a storage crate in my work area!

Makes a hard job easy! Saves so much time! Easy to assemble and easy to use.
