Great compass
Authentic military piece, great quality. Actual tritium. Just like what we used in the Army, but in much better shape.

Good product, but not tridium as advertised
It’s a good replica of the military M2 Lensatic compass and it does what I need it to do. I use it when I go hiking and hunting, and having done a decade in the military where land navigation was a large part of my job I’m pretty pleased with this compass. However, only 3 stars for the false advertising (READ blatant lying) about it being a tridium night arrow. It’s just regular glow In the dark stuff that you have to charge via the sun, whereas tridium is a radioactive isotope that creates its own glow. Doesn’t work great at night without a flashlight

Same as Army issue
My grandson is in the Army and he said this is exactly the same as the units they are issued in the field. The only difference is the units they are issued have been used a thousand times in the field and are pretty beat up. He now has his own.

Don't lend quality stuff to anyone, not even relatives!
Appears to be the same as the one issued to me in 1968. I lent my issued compass and it never found its way home. Although pricey this is a great replacement.

Doubt this is mil issue
This is not like my issue lensatic compass. I hope this is not current issue. Have not had a chance to test it on a land-nav course yet. Will update accuracy once i can test it.Pouch style is 70's/80's period but appears new production.

How do I get there from here
You can't see where you have been but you can know which way you're going with a precision compass.
