Select Sport America 99 Goalkeeper Gloves

I've bought a lot of gloves, and these higher end Selects work great for me. I play 2-4 games indoor (on turf) every week (men's leagues), and these gloves have lasted over 6 months. They're starting to show signs of breaking down in the palm, and are starting to smell a bit, but they still work. Good grip, good padding, good durability, and the wrist strap saved me last week when I took a shot point black and couldn't get my hands up in time. The finger protection is great, and is removable despite another incorrect review on here, though I wish it had thumb protection as well.Update: I am about ready to order these again, and I noticed these last me a little over a year per pair. I've been playing indoor (on turf) for about 10 years now in adult leagues and these are the most durable gloves for that type of game. It's not like outdoor gloves with padding and stickiness. I highly recommend these gloves for this style of play.

My son has used a few different types of gloves in the past. He loves these for the fit and the security it gives him. He wont use any other glove and likes the grip in the palm. He has used these in sun and rain and just loves them. He does replace the finger stay with a more lightweight on because that is what he likes. He plays club and high school ball year round and apart from the problem all gloves have on turf these last longer than normal if taken care of.

I bought these for my daughter for games and the Select 33's for practice. She said there is a definite difference between the two in that these are "stiffer" and prevent your fingers from getting bent back much better than the 33's. This is the second pair of 99's that she has owned and she feels they hold up "last longer" than other brands.

Gloves handle most conditions fine. However they did wear out a little after 1 game on artificial turf.

Nice gloves but the stitching started coming apart on the fingers had to order another pair to replace these but Amazon did well they replaced it with a new pair right away !!!! NO COMPLAINTS

Bought these gloves for my U13 GK son. We are returning them because the palms of the glove have absolutely no stickiness to them. The inexpensive Adidas gloves that cost on-third of these Select, even now that they are very worn, have stickier palms. My son's coach, who was a professional goalie, said these gloves are inadequate.
