They look great with khakis, jeans, and shorts. I ordered 11.5 first (sometimes I might wear 12), but they were uncomfortably large. Returned them for size 11, and they fit fine. So these do run larger than normal. I've never worn a size 11 in any kind of shoe before, only boots.I like Steve Madden shoes, too, because they last. I've never had trouble with my foot being too wide in regular shoes, but I agree with previous reviews that these shoes are very narrow. I got my regular shoe size (10.5) instead of following the shoe size suggestion of 9.5 so that probably helped my feet fit a bit better as well.
