Very nice Bundle!!!

I was looking for 3 of these ingredients on their own, when I found this bundle. It was less expensive than the 3 of the ingredients alone and it came with 2 additional ingredients I didn't even know I needed until I got them and 2 adorable long spoons which are great for not only getting things out of the bottom of jars, but I used for a long iced tea and rootbeer float spoon (which I did not use any of these sauces in, but perhaps I should experiment).

Can not find in the local grocery stores

The whole bottle of Rice cooking wine was shattered in the box with its contend spilled all over the other items. Gross negligence!

This is a good set of ingredients. The price is a little elevated compared to my local Panasia Supermarket but the spoons probably account for that. Great flavors!

Looking forward t trying what didn’t break. My chili crisp was a full of glass.

Though the presentation of the products upon arrival isn't the greatest, I think it could make a great gift for someone who loves to cook to help stock their pantry with some basics for Asian dishes.So far I have tried all of the products in this bundle except for the Chinkiang Vinegar.I actually have been keeping this same exact chili oil as a pantry staple, so I already had some on hand. This stuff is a great addition to a variety of dishes. I use it in a sauce that I make everytime we have homemade pot stickers (one of my hubby's favorites) yum! It adds a nice little amount of heat. I definitely don't find it offensively spicy or anything.Now prior to receiving this bundle, I had never actually used dark soy sauce or Shaoxing Cooking Wine before. I decided to make a recipe of stir fry beef that called for the dark soy sauce, regular soy sauce, and the Shaoxing Cooking Wine. I used the regular soy sauce and the cooking wine in the marinade for the beef and all 3 of the ingredients in the stir fry sauce. The recipe that I was referring to had mentioned that the dark soy sauce was essentially just used for color since it is as it's name implies: dark. The soy sauces tasted just fine and as you would expect. I didn't know what to expect from the Shaoxing Cooking Wine, but wow I think it is the "secret" ingredient to getting your food to taste like takeout! If my meal would have been put in a to-go box and given to me I would not have questioned that it came from a Chinese restaurant. So if you're looking to get that takeout taste at home; make sure you have some of that cooking wine on hand!!
