Q: Would this work for a 43" Sky Glass? Trying to mount in an alcove

I’m not sure, don’t have the Sky tv should work for the size, I’ve done similar but I’m not sure about the fittings at the back of sky tv. You could always order it and if fittings not correct send it back. I sent one back because it wasn’t a long enough reach out of the alcove.

Cant recall exactly but the dimensions are on the item listing possibly under specifications. There is an exploded view with measurements there.

Q: Can this be opened fully to the left or right flat to the wall?

Yes I have just brought one and to be fair I think it’s better than any I was looking at and much cheaper.

Q: What size is the base plate that screws to the wall?

50 by 25 cms. It has to be large to support the weight.

Really great bracket

Amazing quality, highly recommend, bit of an annoyance to put up but it’s for the men to do not me 😭 great value for money and really sturdy fits really well. The installation wasn’t easy at first but got a hand of it eventually

Lubricate joints with WD40 before mounting. Superb wall bracket

A super tv wall bracket. Robust, comes with all the fixings and works well. With my previous wall bracket, the to would become unlevel when you swivelled the tv to the side. Top tip: lubricate the joints with WD40 before mounting. No need to attempt to loosen any of the bolts.

Well made, good quality mount.

Heavy duty wall mount. Works well and is very easy to install. Just pay attention to the type of wall you mount it to. The instructions are very clear on this. Good wide range of adjustments. It a bit stiff to move. Could do with being a little easier to position. I mounted a 50 inch tv to the wall, it holds the TV very well. Good functionality with wide adjustment range. Very complete kit with lots of screws and mounting washers to suit the back of most TVs.

Large, extendable, usable more than for larger TVs. You have to take into account that it is a heavy, durable thing, and changing the TV's direction position will not be easy, it is difficult to extend, to move. The wall must definitely be very durable because the thing is heavy. But otherwise the quality is good.

Excellent sturdy extending TV bracket

Excellent TV bracket. Met all our expectations, it is well made, very solid and works really well. Highly recommended if you need a bracket that comes out a long way from the wall. We have a Samsung “The Frame” TV which sits nicely close to the wall at the side of a chimney breast like a picture and comes out on the bracket for viewing as a TV.

Extends out very far.

Excellent. I was pleasantly surprised just how far out and away from the wall it stretches. Good solid fixings and easy to install. I use it in the bedroom. When extended out fully the TV is almost over the centre of our double bed. Da iawn.
