Cat loves it even when he can’t tolerate anything else
This solution is such an amazing product. One of my cats is quite old and has really bad IBS. Recently we had such a bad flare up and I couldn’t get him to eat anything or keep anything down. He has done well with this once before, unlike a lot of the other Recovery liquids available, so I figured I’d try it again. I can’t say it was specifically this that made him better because he has had a lot of medication from the vet recently to help him as well, but this stuff got him to eat and kept it down! He loves the smell and taste of it, and he is a very picky cat. He went from practically nothing to at least a little wet food with this mixed in. Now he is eating more than I have ever seen and finally gaining weight (it’s been a struggle to keep him from losing weight no matter how much or what kind of food I have available). He also has so much more energy than he has had for a very long time, which could be the medicine again, but I think it is mostly that he is getting enough calories finally. Now, it is quite expensive, and even when giving a full dose a day it goes bad before I can use it all, usually about 5 days in, and he will no longer touch it. My solution has been to put it into ice trays, one dose per ice cube, right when I open the bottle. I’ll be using this a little while longer until I’m sure he can keep food down, and then maybe in smaller portions for a while to keep his appetite up until (fingers crossed) he gets back to a healthy weight.

Great taste and works!
This worked so well for my kitty. She actually licked it straight up in her dish. She wasn't eating anything else so I was so happy she licked this if it was not mixed with her food. Then after a couple of days she started eating food again and feeling like herself. I highly recommend it! Works wonders and so fast I got saved a trip to the vet. If she would have gone longer without eating I would have taken her, but no need because this alone was the cure for her. Her vomit and diarrhea stopped completely as well.

Helped save the Rickster’s life!!!
Over the last couple years my sweet, picky 17 yo cat Ricky had been gradually losing weight and getting “dull”… his eyes, his fur, he was just getting run down. The vet diagnosed him with CKD and hyperthyroid and we started meds. In the last couple months he really started to deteriorate, no energy, barely eating and lost a couple pounds he really couldn’t afford to lose. I was worried he was going to waste away, I was getting really sad and losing hope. The one thing he would enthusiastically eat was the “Churu Nourish” treat tubes I buy from my vet (different than regular churu, twice the calories). But those have so little nutrients in them, I knew he couldn’t last long on churu nourish alone. In desperation I searched for cat appetite formulas or cat nutrients, saw the great reviews on this one and ordered (along with a couple others) . When they all arrived Ricky wouldn’t eat any of the nutrient formulas on his food, so I mixed this liquid with his churu in a little cup and used a food syringe to put the slurry back in the churu tube. He sucked it down just as enthusiastically as a regular churu treat. So for the next week and a half I made him 4 “churu bombs” a day- 6 ml of rebound liquid mixed with a churu, four times a day. He’s getting calories and some protein from the churu and his vitamins and minerals from the Rebound liquid. Added bonus, I could sneak his meds in his “churu bomb”, no more pilling. After a few days of mostly churu bombs, he started eating his wet food, a little at first and then more and more until now, a couple weeks later, he is eating two cans of cat food daily and with gusto! I really credit this product for giving him the nutrition he needed to recover enough to want to eat again. And he’s put on a pound and a half in the last two weeks- Rebound liquid is very low cal, but it makes the calories that your cat is willing to eat have enough nutrition to keep them going and help them recover. Now Ricky is acting more like his old self- strutting around the house, getting into mischief, demanding scritches. His fur is shinier and he has more energy and an appetite. Even though he’s eating more, I’m still giving him two to three “churu bombs” a day with 6ml of rebound each time, and he loves it. I just ordered another bottle and plan to continue it as his daily multivitamin. I don’t know how long my sweet Ricky will be with us, he’s a very old man and his CKD is pretty advanced. But I absolutely think this product (along with the Churu Nourish tubes, Forza Renal cat food and some great vet care) is making the time he has left longer and more comfortable. Thank you for this product, quite literally a lifesaver!!

woethywhile product to try, lots of info below
I forgot I had purchased this. I bought it because my elderly kitty was going downhill fast. She wasn't eating enough, and I wanted to add something to her food that would possibly provide her more nutrition. It really helped her in terms of feeling more comfortable and satisfied, which made me feel better. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. Short shelf life, though. There are a few products I like for this purpose, and this is one that is good. Not a lot of info here, so I looked up what I could find and added it here. I Can’t recommend Rebound Enough! (Cats)
I can’t recommend this recuperation broth enough! Rebound is being given to my recently sick 7-year-old white-and-tabby. He has had a bout of illness, not eating, diarrhea, and being poorly for a week. The emergency vet found nothing suspicious and said it was a stomach bug. Still we were faced with a cat who would not eat for more than a day, which is bad for cats (different than people). She gave him anti-nausea pills and an appetite stimulant, which helped for a day, but then he wouldn’t eat again. So we ordered this product to try to tempt him to eat again. The ingredients are numerous. There are vitamins, minerals, probiotics, omega oils, and essential amino acids. It’s based on chicken broth, which is my cat’s favorite homemade treat. It smells good and is a bit viscous in texture, having some body when you pour it. You have to use it up in one week and keep it refrigerated. I wonder if you could safely freeze any extra. I poured a half dose into the handy little measuring cup provided. Then poured a little blob into a 2-inch sushi dish. He just woke up right away, sniffed the air, and lapped it up. We were amazed! Gave a tad more a while later. From there we were able to progress to human baby food (chicken), and finally he was eating again normally. Over the week, we continued to give him a daily dose until the bottle was used up. It’s a relief to see him looking bright-eyed and bushy tailed again. I think I’d try Rebound to tempt any cat that looks bedraggled. It’s a good value. Made in Belgium.

Really Works!
Our cat is 15 and diabetic. She was recently diagnosed with pancreatitis. After several days of not eating and giving her other high calorie gels/powders/pastes, and prescribed appetite stimulants, we were at the point of considering a feeding tube. I read the reviews for Rebound and decided to try it. It was a game changer! We knew she wouldn’t voluntarily drink it so we put 3 ml in a liquid syringe and shot it into her mouth. Within a couple hours she was interested in food again. Highly recommend this product!

My 20 year old cat liked it but it had no effect
My 20 year old cat is supposed to eat special food that is good for his kidneys but he won't eat it, and is a very fussy eater = mostly he likes human food - tuna fish, chicken, raw ground beef, etc. This did not seem to have any beneficial effect on him as far as improving his appetite and It has to be discarded after 7 days and is very expensive. I am just going to feed him what he likes and will eat, and hope for the best. He's had a long and happy life.

This is an exceptional product!!
Ohmy goodness-never did I hope for this kind of positive reaction to any product, but, my 12 yr old cat who began exhibiting IBD symptons 2 years ( and another beloved semi feral rescue died from it despite all my diligent efforts by changing their diets from the ubuquitous carbohydrate based dry food even thouth they had always eaten the best dry foods and not the ones with the biggest advertising budgets to convince cat parents that what they were feeding was really HEALTHY (which until relatively recently was ALL our Obligate Carnivors had in the way of kibble -and, most animal guardians do NOT know this critical information that ALL OBLIBATE CARNIVORS LACK THE ENZYMES AND AMINO ACIDS TO PROPERLY PROCESS AND DIGEST COOKED CARBS WHICH ALL DRY FOOD WERE AND STILL ARE MADE WITH! So, a lot of damage and illness are most likely the result of eating undigestable primarily cooked carbs . If you take notice, you will see more and more RAW FREEZE DRIED "KIBBLE" with NO GRAINS! my surving Rosemerry has been challanged even since I completely deleted cooke carb based dry food but, still has issues and it is a real challange to keep her in some level of health status so, hence trying VIRBAC-and, even though I have to add Brewar's yeast to cover up the smell which she walks away from, I noticed a positive reaction after the 1st day and in the subsequent days I have started her day with the requisite amount (today was the 4th day)-her personality actually became more positive, more affectionate, which to my assessment is emblematic of this product immediately helping her to feel better! I am ordering 4 more bottles so she does not run out of it! This has definitely been a blessing! My question is, what do people with dogs do since the dosage is bassed on the animal's weight-the product would not provide but a couple of servings? In closing, if you hava a picky kitty who sniffs and walks away- but a container of Brewar's yeast Nutrional Yeast-(a human nutritional powder which is a by-product of the beer brewing process) either MODERN PRODUCTS which is darker and a deeper different flavor from KAL NUTRITIONAL YEAST which is lighter (both fabulous on buttered popcorn and many other foods and to add extra nutrition and enhance soft and dry cat food smell and -and for decades, because I always keep both for adding to my foods if my cats decide they don't fancy their food, a lite sprinkly over the food when they are being picky about, will normally provide the "smell" they like and it will spur them on to eating so, just experiment but don't give up if they walk away-they are cats and pickyness is built into their genes I think!
