I have a dog who spends a lot of time in the yard so I've been looking for a mosquito repellent that is effective while also non-toxic to dogs. I was cautiously optimistic about trying Wondercide as it is DEET-free and "natural", and did not expect it to be super effective. But ever since I started using it two summers ago, I have become a repeat customer.First off, it is very easy to use. Just attach the bottle to a garden hose, turn the knob, and spray. The pressure is strong and even, and it takes 15-20 minutes to cover a typical yard. The treated area is safe to use as soon as it dries, usually within a few hours. Most importantly, it works. No, it's not as effective as DEET-based products, and it will not get rid of all mosquitoes, but it reliably reduces bites by 70-80% in my yard and the effects last a solid 4 weeks. For a DEET-free product, it's genuinely impressive.After two years of use and many repurchases, here are my pro tips to getting the best results:1) Cut your grass first.2) When first establishing control, spray twice within 2-4 days to knock out both adult mosquitoes and any larvae that hatch from the remaining eggs.3) Spray your patio, fence, walking paths, and outdoor furniture. The bottle says it's safe on outdoor fabric, but I recommend patch testing.4) Avoid applying in the morning and during the heat of the day. Spray in the evening to prevent sunburn on your plants and lawn, and to allow time for the product to dry properly.5) Since Wondercide is an alternative to longer-lasting pesticides, you will need to reapply more frequently throughout the season and after heavy rain. After the first double-spray, I typically reapply once every 4 weeks to maintain control.

Seems to be working pretty well so far. Pretty good coverage for my yard before the chemical ran out. I will review again after some time. Doesn’t really help with flying bugs though. With Gnats it did pretty okay just no other flying insects. I have outside cats and that was my main concern. They are all okay after being in the grass so I’d say that’s awesome!

almost only a 3 star, but it worked on the mosquitoes and I hate mosquitoes. Did almost nothing about the ants. No horrific odor, sprayer works great, no leaking around the connection. I'll keep it for the mosquitoes, but need to find something else for ants.

I bought this in a panic 12 hours before an outdoor birthday party because my professional spray had just worn off after a heavy rain. I appreciated it was safe when wet since the kids would be playing in the grass. When it arrived, I panicked it wouldn’t be enough since I have a large yard, but it covered with about half a bottle since it connects to the hose.We went from being swarmed the day before to only seeing 1-2 mosquitoes in one area. HIGHLY recommend!

I live in Central Alabama…. Mosquito capitol of the world….and I have tried almost every spray, every candle, every plant, every light…. Imaginable. They still tear me up every time… until I discovered this liquid gold! I did 3 base treatments the first three nights… and now I can go a week or two between treatments with no problems whatsoever! I sit on the porch in shorts with no other repellent and have ZERO problems! And it makes my yard and my porch smell amazing!!! Trust this Alabama girl when I say THIS IS IT!!!

Every summer I am plagued with tiny black biting ants around my mesquite tree. I have used this product for years and love it. I have dogs so I don't want to use chemicals. I connect Wondercide to my hose and spray the whole area. Easy peasey, It depends on how often I have to respray - from a few days to a few weeks depending on rain. I am so glad I found a product that works that I don't have to worry about around my dogs.

My school was having a problem with box elder beetles. I don’t know if it was because the product was not made for these little bugs or if we just had too many in the play ground bark, but they didn’t go away. However, this was more affordable than other similar products. It smelled good when applied.

I don't know if this actually works because I dont see a big issue with ticks and other bugs but I absolutely love the smell of the product. It give a nice oak odor and with my dog peeing outside it masks the smell.
