I bought this for my wheelchair because I was having difficulty in scooting back into my seat and due to being uncomfortable in my wheelchair after sitting for so many hours. It definitely is very useful and scooting into my seat in a safe manner makes it much easier for me to scoot due to the smooth material of the Sherpa. It is very comfortable. I am interested to see if it is comfortable after sitting for long periods of time is it claims to. Also interested to see if it keeps me cool in the heat and warm in the cooler temperatures

I use this in the seat of my wheelchair and it is much more comfortable. I am confined to a wheelchair and as a result I do experience some pressure ulcers. This pad has helped in that regard. I would definitely recommend this pad.

I am a CNA currently caring for a couple in their home. The male client had leg surgery recently and he has to sit/lay in a recliner and sit in a wheelchair. His family has ordered several cushions for him to sit on based on his doctors recommendations. I saw this he asked me to order it. He loves it. He said it's the best thing he has ever sat on. It's soft, stays in place, and doesn't cause friction when he gets on his bottom when he gets in and out of his chair. Which will help prevent skin breakdown and tears. I may order me one. I highly recommend this for anyone who has hip injury, prone to skin tears, and has to sit more.

Working great

I was skeptical about the claims and it did cost a little more than synthetic sheep skin but I'm not sorry I ordered this sheep skin. It does what it promises. I have no further break down and the old skin breakdown is slowly healing. The color blends with my wheelchair seat and the sheep skin tightens down and doesn't shift on the wheelchair seat. I can be outside in the Kansas City heat and still have dry skin.

Confined pt to a chair

For the amount of money this cost, I expect that the "microsuede" (that's what it says in the description) would be a single piece. I'm concerned this will cause even more skin irritation. Returning.

I’m disabled unable to walk unfortunately I sit a lot this pad has made sitting for long periods of time more tolerable. Had the start of pressure sores which have since gotten better.
