Purchased these because I was waking up with morning headaches likely because I was grinding my teeth in my sleep; I’ve used one night and they helped.I was concerned that the guard would slip around in my mouth and maybe fall out in my sleep, but that was not the case because of how well they molded to my mouth/teeth.I have a small mouth and very crowded misaligned teeth so I needed something that would mold well to my mouth. These fit the bill perfectly! I tried both sizes and they will both work wonderfully for me. When I molded them I did as instructed on the box but also added a bit of suction at the same time which helped it mold to the front of the teeth too. After doing that, because of how misaligned my teeth are, one side. although pefect for fit, just seemed a bit off - maybe because of a bit of OCD on my tongue’s part - anyway I stuck that end back in the water and then molded it with my fingers a bit (as shown in one of the pictures) and then back into the water and remolded it to my mouth until it felt right. One of the large ones I tried trimming and the remolding like I just described helped smooth the cut edges. There are two sizes and 3 of them for each size. Highly recommend this product!!!

I ordered these since they were far less expensive than going to a dentist to get one fitted. Plus, I have extras, so they'll last me a long time before I need to buy a new set. I'm not going to claim they're my favorite; I've never had a mouth guard, braces, or anything else on my teeth, so this product is a huge adjustment for me. Even now, after three weeks of using the product. First and foremost, I have an issue with teeth grinding when sleeping. Second, I breathe through my mouth until I fall asleep. This device felt thick on my teeth, and it felt weird having to wear it. Next, because I wasn't used to it and I am a mouth breather, I was slobbering in my sleep, which is disgusting, and I was afraid the guard would get caught or fall down my throat because I was continuously touching or moving it with my tongue because it was unpleasant for me. Once attached to your teeth, this guard has an outstanding suction. You should be aware that this is a terrific product that accomplishes everything I need it to do. But I am the problem, not the product, if you are like me and are not used to having something in your mouth while sleeping you will have to adjust yourself.

Instructions were a bit sketchy,(grammar mostly).Did the best to follow them and so far results are very good. Molded well, fit much better than my previous one.Couldn't decide large/small-so made both. will see how if there is a significant difference after a trial period.My dentist wanted $150 for one-now have half dozen for less than $15. Hard to see that they can't work.*Revised after first night-not sure why but it dried out my mouth. Maybe just a reaction to my saliva, but can't use them again.Too bad-fit and use was great.

I needed to replace a mouth guard I bought at a store costing almost $30 but didn't want to pay that again. I have a hard one from dentist but it has chipped my lower teeth from gnashing my teeth from side to side as well as clenching. I saw this one with 4 small and 4 regular sized forms. I have a really small jaw and did not want to get one that was too big to use. I made one in each size and the process is so simple. If you make an error, you just place it back in water that just starts to bubble and wait 10 seconds after placing on a napkin and do it again. I am glad there are 4 of each size because I can keep one at home and one for traveling. Would definitely recommend this to anyone! I use the bigger one unless my back molars are hurting from during the day.

I like the quality of the material this product is made of and the large seems to fit well. However, I've tried 3 times to mold the pieces. As recommended, I used two of the small to practice on. I use a commercial grade thermometer to measure the water temp and I have it at 180, the mid point of the recommended heat range. I follow the instructions exactly. I did post a question on line and got one response saying I needed to press front and back to mold. I tried that and it helped a bit but still only stays in position for a few seconds. I did get a second response to my question from a user saying she had the same issue and moved on to dentist made guard. The vendor makes it very clear this product is not returnable so try it out if you have the time and patience. I selected this product because it looked thinner than some other products on Amazon. My suggestion would be to select a vendor who provides direct contact for questions. Usually when I ask a question on Amazon I get several useful responses; I was surprised for a product with over 725 reviews, I only received 2 responses to my question.

Even after resizing and cutting, fit was off and I’d drool like crazy (puddle on my pillow). One I got to fit better but just uncomfortable….

These are the second type of night guards I've bought. These don't have a tab that you have to cut after molding them in hot water. These are more heavy duty, but soft and pliable ~ easy to mold to your teeth. I must caution you that once they come out of the hot water they need to be on a paper towel for 15 seconds and when you go to put them in your mouth they are very soft and somewhat sticky. I ruined the first one because the side of the guard touched the other side and stuck to it & I couldn't pull it back to my satisfaction. The second one I tried was awesome & I have six more & I ordered another box! :-)
