Great strong well made boot .
Excellent boot . Very heavy and well made . The size seemed narrow to me but I have hobbit feet. I returned the size 12 for a size 12 wide and the boot fits perfectly . THESE ARE STEEL TOE BOOTS ! That wasn’t clear to me in the description. The steel toe took me by surprise and at first it seemed like a negative but the more I thought about it the more it made sense to keep the steel toe logger boots . They are not crazy heavy like other steel toe boots I’ve had in the past . They are very comfortable straight out of the box and I wouldn’t have noticed they were steel toes if it wasn’t clearly labeled on the box and on the tag hooked to the boots . The size runs small (narrow) so I returned the first boots for the 12 wide . Steel toe boots ain’t gonna stretch so make sure the boot is comfortable with thick socks straight out of the box .The only issue I found is the first time I wore the boots for 10 hours there was a leather seam on the tongue that really really dug into my upper ankle on the inside where the tongue attaches to the main boot . This hurt and actually bruised my leg /ankle after walking for miles and miles all day long .I had to adjust the position of the tongue about two hours in to the day but the bruise was already there. The second day I wore these boots I was more careful with the tongue seam placement and the issue self resolved. No more issues since . The boots are very very comfortable and look great . I get compliments on them everywhere I go . These boots seem very well made and sturdy . Just make sure you get the tongue seam adjusted flat and not bunched up on your ankle or you are in for a painful bruise. After two days of break in I don’t notice any issues with that tongue seam . I likely caused the issue myself by not pushing the seam flat the first time I put the boots on . I just stuffed my feet in the boots and yanked on the lacing . Btw these boots come with a light tan color lace . … I don’t like the sharp contrast in color so I put some dark brown laces I had in my desk drawer in the boots and I’m much happier with the look.My wife says the boots look better with the light contrasting tan laces but I disagree. I felt like the yellow Iaces belong on clown shoes . Problem solved in two minutes with spare laces I had for my old work boots that I finally wore completely out . These boots are a replacement for my old Chippewa boots that I’ve beat to death for 10 years . I hope these boots hold up as well . They seem to be even better made than the Chippewa boots I finally wore completely out . We will see over the years .I give these five stars . Very comfortable just make sure you get that tongue seam flat and not all bunched up during initial break in .

Superlative boots, great design and quality
I made the mistake to buy a Chinese copycat of this Georgia Boot model because of the $ savings. What a mistake. I ended up with calluses on my foot and a lot of pain. I thrown those copycat boots and bought my second pair of Georgia Boots and I am ready to buy the third pair now. I am daylight outdoors working on my ranch and the equipment you use is critical. Boots are an essential part of your safety equipment and these are of great design and construction. Thick leather keep your feet dry and the boots last for about 2 years of daily use. This is good since I live in Oregon where more than half a year you are drown in water. Great boots, totally recommend to try it over other brands. 2025 May 16th update: Well, I added a picture about a defective hook which is not lowering my appreciation for the boots. Since this is sold by Amazon I could not find a way to communicate with the suppliers to send me few hooks and installation washers instead of return and replacement. I would have not gone to return and replacement process if I was able to purchase the defective parts.

My experience so far
I've been using these boots since late October but I wanted to use em up and see how they perform before putting out a review. I work with concrete/precast and the job has ruined plenty of my boots until I got these. They are my longest lasting boot thus far and still going strong. They do have a bit of weight when walking around but I got use to em fairly quickly. The fit is a bit on the snug side so for these, go a size up in my opinion. I normally go a half size up so I thought a 7 Wide would be safe.. should've went for 7.5 at the very least. I originally got the boots cause I thought they looked good and they look AWESOME, especially when they got that wear and tear vibe goin on. The heel would probably be my favorite feature in the boot, makes it easier to climb things. The sole combined with the classic grip pattern and heel gives me a lot of stability when goin around the yard and that's just a quick summary of how they perform. Although I've expressed my fondness for the boots, I gotta say right off the bat that they aren't perfect. I feel like they've lasted as long as they did because I took care of them. Brushing em down daily and using mink oil every other week after cleaning and I cycle through these and another boot every other day (I recommend ppl to do that, having an extra pair helps longevity) but I work 10+ hr shifts 6 days a week and stomping around in a yard made of concrete, gravel, dirt and mud with these ain't great.. but I can admit it's mostly in part to the fit, the size up tip I mentioned earlier would've been a great idea instead of my conventional half size method. Additionally, I'd like to point out that the break in period for me was more or less than a week and the waterproofing is holding up. I work in a tropical environment tho so when it rains, the water will go down my leg and the boots will hold water just as good and they keep em out so keep that in mind. Also, my boots only came with one boot kiltie (that layer of leather that rests above the toe box) and for some reason, the lace is longer than the other so that annoys me a little but overall, it was a $120+ boot thats worth every penny and I would get these again if it ever breaks on me (in a size bigger tho) in the future, given the opportunity.
