Wow, this is great. I am constantly chasing bobbins around my sewing/craft room. With the threads hanging out it makes it battle sometimes. This item is great. If you are like me then this will be a very helpful tool! It holds the bobbins tight and they don't fall out even if you hold it upside down. I only put a few bobbins in for now, it says i think 20 can go in, although there is room for many more but i have a feeling that if you put too many it might stretch out! It is a soft pliable rubber almost like a silicone. I love it and i will probably purchase a couple more in the future. This way i can just wind all of my bobbins and have easy access. LOVE IT!

This is a great alternative to the plastic boxes. The bobbins are held securely, you can see the color of the thread, the thread doesn't unwind, and the curve allows a slight gap between bobbins so you can easily grab one and pop it out. Further, you can actually drop this on the floor and the bobbins WON'T fall out!

These circular bobbin savers are just GREAT! Bobbins stay secure and are still very easy to remove and place. The circular design makes them easy to carry securely. The only negative is price - it probably cost pennies to manufacture but yet is still one of those little convenience items I won't be without. They're heads and shoulders better than little plastic boxes. I have different colors for different thread materials so it's easy to grab the one I need.

I bought two of these--one for each type of bobbin I use. These have been great for sewing when I travel. I haven't had to deal with my bobbins spilling and unwinding since I started using these. It's also convenient to be able to hang these up on a peg or a knob and to view many bobbins at once (arranged according to color, of course!).Update: I've just bought a third! Years later, I'm still a fan of the bobbin saver.

I am a Family & Consumer Sciences teacher (we teach sewing) and I have these in my classroom. They help keep things organized with many students in the classroom each sewing and doing their thing. I always wanted one for my home but resisted because in the stores I found they cost $14.99 and felt it was too expensive. I found it here for less and figured just get it! I kept researching "bobbin storage ideas" all over the web and found that nothing works as well as this little ring. Honestly even at $14.99 this ring is worth it! It holds 26 of my standard-sized metal bobbins and I couldn't be happier. Wish I didn't wait as long. Get it you won't regret it!

I wish I had bought this bobbin holder earlier! Previously, I kept all my bobbins in a box and the threads would get all tangled. I decided to try this out based on the good reviews, and I am not disappointed. It is flexible rubber, so the bobbins stay in securely but are still easy to get out. I managed to fit 25 SA156 bobbins in this while still being able to easily pull them out. I certainly plan on buying at least one, maybe two more of these. A must have for any sewer.

This is a great little tool for keeping bobbins corralled and tidy.I purchased the BobbinSaver after accidentally, for the umpteenth time, bumping their hard plastic storage case and seeing the bobbins go all willy-nilly on the table. I'll bet some of you reviewing this are nodding your heads right now in empathy.The BobbinSaver is beautiful in its simplicity; it keeps the bobbins and their wandering thread tails secure and easily visible without fuss. Just push them in and they stay.As others have said, one should leave a bit of space between each bobbin for ease of removal. Even having arthritic hands I don't find it difficult to remove bobbins from this product.The only downside I see to the BobbinSaver is the wasted space in the middle, but that donut shape does enable me to hang the BobbinSaver on pegboard.I will be buying another soon, as it has withstood the test of time and, apparently, my clumsiness.
