Beautiful on DARK wooden floors
So I just finished using this on my VERY dark real wooden floors- I love the look of dark wood floors but maintenance wise it’s a huge hassle as EVERY scratch, ding etc shows up instantly- plus we have kids and a dog so the floors constantly get beat up. I was VERY cautious as I’ve read the negative reviews regarding using this on dark color wood so I thought I’d add. This did a gorgeous job on my dark wooden floors- there very dark. Here’s some tips;- first use SPARINGLY- we live in a 2,000sq condo and I didn’t even use the entire 32oz bottle. Do NOT slather this on. Test in a small area first as well.- I used a swifter wetjet mop along with their pads- NOT the microfiber ones-( I think it makes a huge difference- microfiber has fibers on it. Just use the disposable ones) but the regular disposable ones. Worked like a charm.Afterwards u just throw the pad out- easy peasy.- GO WITH THE GRAIN- and the layout of your wood planks- if your planks are vertical- don’t go horizontal etc- I did it this way and there’s absolutely NO streaking.I put on 2 coats- waited an hour in btw coats- it’s amazing becuz it FILLED in so many superficial scratches! Obviously not the super deep ones but the ones left from moving furniture- Xmas trees, puppies running around etc- there ALL gone. That’s amazing to me.It conditioned my floors- No it didn’t leave them with a SUPER high gloss finish- it did gloss them and they look brand new and almost ALL the scratches are gone and that’s what’s most important for me.Final thoughts I wouldn’t use this more than once or possibly- maybe- twice a year- becuz it does coat ur floors and you don’t want to have build up- that’s why rule #1 about using this SPARINGLY is SO important and plus this way also, it left absolutely NO cloudiness on my floors. Obviously if you just dumb the entire bottle and over saturate ur floors you’ll be left with a huge milky residue. Don’t do that. Best to use it sparingly and do it twice if you want more gloss. Also NO chemical smell or anything. So that’s my two cents on using this on Very DARK wooden floors. Oh and NO stickiness what’s so ever when dried and walking on floors - again becuz you should use sparingly.-Also. It took me 20-30 minutes to do it each time. Super fast. I didn’t labor over it ALLL day. Washing and rubbing this in etc. you don’t have to be that dubious. If you apply correctly it does the rest for you. So apply & enjoy the rest of your day.

So easy to use and looks great!
We had previously purchased the minwax floor refinisher and loved that but it is a little on the pricey side and has a longer wait period for second coats and such so I found this one which seemed similar but at half the price and has a shorter waiting periodAnd wow do I love this product!I applied two coats after I swept and cleaned the floor and it’s so shiny and smooth now!The application process is a little bit different than the minwax- you use a dry pad instead of wet but that was fineI purchased a cheap swiffer like reusable fabric pad and stick from the dollar store to apply this with and it worked like a dream. After finishing I just washed the pad with soap and water and let it dry overnight and it was good to use againApply in the direction of the grain and make sure not to leave any bubbles behind. I recoated the floors after an hour with no issue! One bottle covered a 14x14 room twice with a decent amount leftover to do the hallway and touch upsDo make sure that you wait a full 24 hours (probably more) before trying to slide things on the floor- we made that rookie mistake when moving the couch on sliders back and it left streaks which I’m hoping will look new again with a little touch up coatSo save your money and use this instead of minwax, you won’t regret it!

makes your laminate shine
this is def a great product to add a nice shine to your floor I recommend also buying this product in the floor cleaner I have pets and they leave alot of water marks and foot prints on the floor my floors were a matte finish and made them shiny but actually does not clean floors so buy prod as a 2pk you get the floor cleaner and than top coat male sure you let dry atleast 15 min in between the cleaner and shine and def do not let pets walk on when wet or for you not to walk on for best results

The miracle worker!
I've used Weiman's Hardwood Floor High-Traffic Polish and Restorer (in conjunction with the Weiman Hardwood Floor Cleaner) about three times a year for several years now and I always chide myself for not doing it more often. Our floors are a century old and stained a very dark, rich brown. Every claw mark from our critters over the years, every piece of furniture or box of stuff moved through the house has left its mark (not to mention all those decades of life in this house prior to us living here). There are scratches and the wood gets dull. I commit most of an afternoon to clearing a room, sweeping and mopping the floor thoroughly, and then applying at least two coats of the Polish and Restorer so I can bask in its shiny glory when it dries. There is no cloudiness and with careful application, there are no streaks or dull spots. This is not a product you can just throw down and apply quickly. You have to take your time and spread it evenly. If you have bubbles where you picked your mop up, you're going to have bubbles there when it dries. If you do not clean the floor thoroughly and have dust or fur still on the floor, you are going to enshrine those things in wax. This is a great product, but the end result is largely determined by the amount of time and care the user puts in to its application. With time and patience, the Weiman products will make your old floors look brand new. I will never trust anything else on these century-old oak floors.

It Was OK
Used this on some sun-faded wooden floor boards. It provided an improvement to be sure, but not as much as I’d hoped. But I would recommend it perhaps as a temporary solution or possibly for less-affected areas.
