Amazing product
I have already made a review for this light but I'm so happy with it that I have purchased another and will be getting a 3rd soon and making the switch totally to this system.Great light, has good build quality and works well with the Q-pro trigger which I also recommend.200w power is good for my studio and for some environmental portraits, battery life is more than enough for me to get through a portrait shoot with energy to spare and the recycle time is very good and the TTL HSS works well.

Great for use as a single flash. Triggering issues.
The form factor is so perfect and the output is fantastic (brighter than we're used to at similar ƒ) but as I'm learning, does not play nice with other Neewer units or any other units.I have two other newer units (and Godox, Elin) both with their included Neewer triggers, however neither of these radio triggers work with this unit, and neither does our Godox universal trigger. Besides, a stack of triggers on a hot shoe starts to look bad and feel awful, specially if you're hand-held.The photoelectric trigger is VERY directional and is hard to trigger - unless the flash is on its side and within a few meters, so it's restricting to place. We solved by using some early 00's Calumet triggers via PC cable. However, the PC cable input fell inside the unit within a few a shoots, so we're not rating high on build quality or road-worthiness.

Returned due to closed off eco system
Don’t bother buying this if you have any other flash or sync devices! It will only work with Neewer system.Build is of good quality, just a rebranded godox ad200 but with a closed off ecosystem.

It's great but..
It's a great product. Unfortunately, unlike the ad200 and pika Pro 200. The bulb head does not come off. So I could not use my diffusers on this.

Great little flash for the money, pleanty of power in a pocket sized platform
The media could not be loaded. This is a great little flash that can fit in a large pocket really, ideal for outdoor portraits and even as a fill light if you have one of the bigger units already, it works perfectly with the Q pro trigger too, it's well made and comes with the battery, charger, handle and a softbox, really pleased wit it.

Relatively compact & lightweight, works perfectly with the TTL Q Pro system with my Sonys
£214 at time of reviewI shoot more video than photos, so most of my lighting set up are video LED’s but I have been shooting more photos lately and already use the Neewer Q Pro system with my Sony cameras, so was eager to try this flash out. As you’d expect it works perfectly with Neewer’s Q Pro trigger, so set up for me took seconds, switch on the strobe, set the channel and flash. The TTL works brilliantly with my Sony A7M3 & A7C, exposures all set perfectly between the camera and flash. I did have a couple of wildly over exposed shots, but they seemed like anomalies out of about 250 test shots, so nothing to worry about. The set up comes nicely packed in foam inserts in a compact soft carry case, so carry this around and storing is a simple affair. Comes with a small velcro attached soft box / diffuser, which works well to soften the light a bit, although to get an even softer light I bounced it off a reflector & diffuser in the studio, which worked brilliantly (as shown in the photo of the boss).I really like this flash, it’s relatively compact and lightweight, and as I have some other lights from neewer and use their Q Pro trigger I think I’ll get another one, as the trigger can control 5 flashes at once, way more than I’ll ever use personally, but for some that’s pretty neat. I rarely hand out 5 stars, but I think this system deserves them.Hope my review was helpful

Great quality
This flash is really lightweight but not in a bad way. Even if is so light, it still feels like a quality product.Using is easy as it's compatible with other neewer triggers. Setting it up is basically the same as with any other flash.I think the box is really nice and organised, definitely better than a cheap flash I used in the past. The handle isn't the greatest, but I never used a flash holding it directly so I don't think it's a big issue.

Fantastic quality and includes a case and accessories
This flash strobe is very well built it feels quite heavy duty and a premium productIt's a grey rubberised rigid plastic design it feels good in the hand and has a simple user friendly set up.Included in the pack is a battery pack, a Charger Dock, UK power lead, a adjustable hand grip, finally a bag and a small hoodThe functions are fairly simple once you use it once or twice its easy to get used toit also includes a well written instruction booklet included for your information its a very powerfull unit its also compatable with several cameras it has 3 flash modes and 2.4 g Q system so it can be controlled with pro triggers and supports TTLThe lcd screen is clear and displays your modes and setting Clearly and the buttons and general opprration all feels goodThe hood included is small but does the job and has its own little bag the strobe flash unit also comes with a protective storage case with a double zip and handles for mobile useIt can be mounted and has the industry standard mount on the side and the bottom so can be used in either possision the texture of the flash and grip all feels a very good quality and seems perfect for on set and outdoor use i'm very impressed with this one and the pricing seems fair compared to similar kits
