Is the white handle ceramic or plastic?

Plastic handle also it wouldn't connect to our existing shower hose

No it was just the shower head. I did see the same shower head with a hose when I bought mine though.

Does it fit a Westminster 1092 connection?

It fitted directly onto my existing shower hose as a replacement for another brand
