Coolest Bluetooth speaker I’ve ever had. Perfect size. Love the details and LED lighting.

Such a cool Item. They look awesome, have a durable construction, setup is simple and the value is fantastic. These speakers really fill a room with their radial speaker design. The battery life could be a bit better - it typically runs out at 5pm after having it on since 8am. Connectivity is a snap, I have two supernovas connected through TWS and it boots up automatically each time I turn on the speakers for the day, the one gripe I have is that the lights turn red no matter what when you have them plugged in. Weight of the item is good - it’s heavy enough to feel like a quality build but not overly bulky. Definitely could be used for travel.

I love Gravastar's Supernova speakers. They look really cool, AND the sound quality on them is great. They seem to have updated the design from 2 years ago - the buttons are easier to use, and it doesn't glitch if it's charging when you turn off your computer anymore. The materials used in the design are of high quality. It has a good weight to it, and it is very sturdy. The bluetooth connectivity is easy to use, and it functions well. For what you're getting, the price is justified. It's a functional piece of art.

Excellent quality. Heavy and well built. Not plasticky. I didn’t think it would have good quality sound but it was impressive. This speaker is more like 2-3 people in the backyard kinda speaker. Maybe some lounge music in the backyard. I would highly recommend getting 2 so you can tws and get stereo sound. Mars pro doesn’t tws with this one. Bluetooth was flawless. It’s not waterproof so be careful before you dip it in your pool. I wish they made a waterproof version that can be tethered with multiple speakers with a cable. I would have 5 of these in a chain link in my backyard as a permanent feature and if they were waterproof I don’t have to worry about the rain. But I guess if gravstar reads this they will know what to make next. I like the carry handle as it can be used for hanging , it looks like a spider about to strike and functions well by using it as a handle. For the most part it will be sitting pretty on my desk until I occasionally take it to my back yard. On my desk it will be used as mood lighting. Volume can get up high but at high volume the clarity is compromised. But at a decent (50%) volume it does a fantastic job. If you like showpieces or display pieces than look at it as a display piece that can play music and give you mood lighting. If you are looking just for a Bluetooth speaker and don’t care about the look then go get something else for the money. You will see value for money if you see how well it’s painted. It must have taken them some man hours. And everyone that sees it will ask you about it.

Submitted 6/14/23 This review is for the “GravaStar Supernova Portable Speaker with HD Sound” in black. I have been testing Bluetooth speakers and did not really need anymore, but as a Sci-Fi fan, when I saw this, I could not resist ordering it. FIRST IMPRESSIONS: This looks really cool (and a little freaky, but mostly super unique and cool). When you turn it on, there is a robotic-type voice that speaks to you when you power it on and for connecting to Bluetooth. LIGHTS: I love the light effects, although my favorite is the first one. You double click to change light modes. You can choose the “Dynamic Mode” (which goes through different colors – around the light), Single Color (and you choose which color you want), or “Camping Light” (which is a flickering shades of orange and yellow). The colors of the Dynamic Mode are very pretty against the black bars around the light. Also, there are lights on the legs which correspond to the light inside. I really love the colored lights a lot more than I thought I would. It really adds to the overall impressive look. SOUND: The sound is a lot fuller and richer than I expected from a single speaker. The speaker is on the bottom, including a passive radiator (it feels like one to me). I listened to different types of music, including: Classic Rock, Pop, Folk, Classical, Country, Blues. They all sounded very good and balanced. The vocals were nice and clear as well as the instrumentals. SPOKEN WORD: I also tried this with an audio book. I have tried a couple of speakers that had trouble playing audio books; they cut out and made popping noises. This speaker works great with audio books. As with the music, the words are clear, with the emotions and intonations coming through clearly. VOLUME: This gets loud. I measured 100 decibels right next to it, and 85 DB 3ft away (playing a loud rock song). This is on-par with other speakers that I have tested that were 40 watts (this is 25). I did not get distortion even at the loudest volume. OTHER FEATURES: TWS: They state that TWS (true wireless stereo) pairing is available. I am sure that would sound amazing, but this is an expensive speaker, so not everyone could afford to buy two. If that is what you want, though, know that it is listed as an available feature. (Note: This speaker is less expensive than the GravaStar Mars and both are 25 watts). BLUETOOTH 5.3: I had no trouble at all connecting quickly. Also, the speaker is listed as “GravaStar Supernova” so you don’t have to remember some weird unrelated name if you have multiple items connected to your Bluetooth, which is nice. AUTO POWER-OFF: If you stop the music and forget about the speaker, it will automatically turn itself off after a few minutes. MY OVERALL IMPRESSION: This speaker is quite a bit more expensive than other 25-watt speakers. It does sound better than other 25-watt speakers that I have tested (& some 40-watt). The only thing that I would put in the “con” category besides the cost is that it is not listed as being water-resistant or waterproof. The look is certainly unique and a definite conversation starter, and the Dynamic Lighting mode is kind of mesmerizing. I am really enjoying it and am glad that I ordered it.

Great Bluetooth speaker that is a good sounding experience. LED light on top with handle is comfortable for me as I am able to use it a lot. I recommend it for any occasion and for personal enjoyment.

design and lighting is so good but sound quality really low and you have problems with set equalizer don’t have app and also price is to much for this brand

This speaker is fantastic. A bit pricey but still worth it. Love love love the lights on it.
