This laser level has been so handy during my bathroom renovation. It has multiple levels of brightness that I have had no issues seeing. The magnet seems strong but I found that it was more usable to my situation on a tripod. The numerous projection lines make it very versatile. The one thing you need to look out for is turning it on properly if you expect the lines to be level. The instructions are a poor translation to English, as is the case with many these days, but understandable enough if you take the time. Don't just assume you know how it works and to start hitting buttons or you'll end up with unexpected results; read the instructions. Personally, I think this is a great deal for the money to help with your next DIY project. The only issue I ran into was that a standard USB-C phone charging cable would not charge it and I had to use the original.

Nice unit. It looks to be fairly accurate. Very bright. I first bought a Bosch at home depot. It was a joke. you could hardly see it from 10' away. This one is cheaper, more capable and bright. Rechargeable battery. I had a hard time seeing where to charge it. Directions are poor. We will see how it lasts.

Cons: -My unit is missing the magnetic base plate -My unit also came with a dead battery in the remote. Pros: -Once I replaced the battery, remote is much more useful than I expected. Remote makes it easy to turn lines on/off without disturbing the orientation once you've gotten it exactly where you want it. -The laser lines are *SUPER* bright. Level was basically dead-on when compared to my nice 4' level, so quite accurate. I bought it to replace the 10+ year old simple red line laser, and this one makes my old one look like junk (though arguably the old one *was* junk, and this one is great). I would've given it 5 stars, but the missing parts and additional $5 I had to shell out for a good remote battery is a bit annoying for a brand new unit. I would say I recommend the level, just sad their quality control isn't great.

Used this to level my deck and make straight lines outside. IT was a little faint farther away from the uniit but It worked for what i was doing. Brought it inside to hang some pictures and it lit up the room and worked great with any of the 4 lights turned on. Self leveling feature is nice. The "non-level" mode works great but the instructions on how to set it are a little confusing. Took it outside at night and the laser lights were visible for over a hundred feet.
