Initial Impressions + 3 Weeks later update
I've had these less than a day. So, I can't say anything about how they'll hold up on the long term. However, I feel I know enough to provide useful information at this point. Given the current price point, I can say that as long as they don't fall apart in the first year, they will have been more cost effective than most sneakers I've worn.First, I want to point out that I'm typically a 12 1/2 wide when it comes to normal shoe sizes. These sandals fit me just fine and are, in fact, roughly 1/2 of an inch longer than necessary for my feet but I like having a little extra space at the toes and I already reasonably certain size 11 would be too small for me. I was a bit uneasy about trying to order sandals online since I can't try them on first. So, I went to Walmart and tried on some similar looking but cheaper (in the sense of construction, not price) sandals and they had a nearly identical fit. I'm very much a fan of the fact that the straps come out from the sides instead of the top like some sandals tend to do. In the past, I've tried some on that the straps came out of the top and they ended up partially imbedded in the bottom of my feet as a result; not comfortable to say the least. It's worth mentioning that I'm probably lucky these fit since shoes/sandals can be really hit or miss for people. As far as styling goes, there's really nothing much I can say that you can't see for yourself in the picture. Though, it is worth keeping in mind that your monitor may not be displaying true colors. For example, the colors look a bit washed out on my monitor compared to how they actually look.On the topic of comfort, I can say that the inner sole is a slightly squishy soft and, while it appears fuzzy, it doesn't really feel that way. The outer soles are very flexible and reasonably light. The only complaint I have is that the inner soles tend to trap heat to a degree and I wish it did breath a bit better. I get the feeling that because my feet were damp from being just out of a shower isn't helping with that. That said, they're definitely more comfortable than the rubber you typically find in flip-flops, since they don't stick to your skin. At first, it felt like the top ankle strap was digging into my right ankle but, after wearing them for about 15 minutes that feeling went away; likely just a quirk about my feet since it didn't bother my left one at all. The strap that's closer to your toes will end up at least partially covering your toes. If you have toes that are sensitive from being broken in the past or arthritic, it could cause some discomfort. Overall, I'm pleased with the comfort and, short of completely custom made sandals, I can't really expect I'll find anything better, especially at this price.I don't normally wear sandals but I decided that the act of wearing socks and shoes all the time was doing bad things to my feet. In fact, I've recently been discovering that binding clothes, in general, can do bad things to your body. So, in an attempt to take a step in the right direction, I've decided to stop wearing socks and stop hiding my feet from the sun 24/7. It turns out that getting at least a little sunlight on your skin is important and your toes in particular need it for strong nails. A lot of places (where I live included) tend not to get enough sunlight to begin with. My toe nails have become very brittle in recent years, while my finger nails remain perfectly healthy. Thinking about it logically, the biggest difference is I don't wear socks and shoes on my hands, hence my decision. It's possible I'll have to take other measures to improve the health of my feet but, for now, I'm going to see what impact wearing sandals will have.I know this was a bit long but I hope my review was helpful to someone.Update(7/23/2015): After wearing these for three weeks, I've come to the conclusion these don't really hold up to daily wear. This might be obvious to someone who has worn similar sandals before but this was my first pair. Simply put, the inner sole (the part in direct contact with your feet) holds too much heat and, in particular, moisture to be worn daily. The comfort starts to greatly degrade after a week or two of continuous wear. They're likely just fine, if you give them time to air out between uses. I'm not taking off any stars because this seems a case of my own inexperience with these types of shoes.I suppose I could buy one or two more pairs of these to alternate between, if I really just wanted to wear these specific sandals all the time but I'm not that particular. I'm probably going to get a pair of those cheap flip-flop like rubber sole sandals to alternate with. Also, I'm going to start wearing sock and shoes again but never more than 24 hours at a time. It's not like I hated socks and shoes, I just didn't like what the constant wear was doing to my feet. I'll mostly just wear them when I cut grass or go outside in really cold weather. On the topic of my toe nails, after only a couple weeks they are no longer brittle. I'm not going to get specific but I'm reasonably young and healthy and I've always had pretty good recovery times. My point being that others might have a different recovery time. I'm just lucky I didn't need to take vitamin supplements or anything to get them to recover. It's worth mentioning that if you have yellow nails, you should see a doctor about that. My toe nails weren't yellow, just very brittle.

Very nice sandals for the price
I’ve been buying Docker sandals for years and never been disappointed. Unfortunately Docker discontinued the style I’m use to buying so took a chance on these. They are comfortable and stylish and will by these again.

My Favorite Sandals!
Of all of the sandals I've ever worn, this style of Dockers continues to be my favorite. They are just plain comfortable! I'm knocking them down one point in the ratings, however, because the one problem with these sandals is that the rubber soles tend to crack along the treads. These treads go completely from left to right. If it wouldn't be for the cracking treads, the sandals would probably last more than a year. Still, they remain the most comfortable sandal I've worn and for the price, if they need to be replaced yearly, then so be it. I sure wish Dockers would fix this cracking sole problem though.

Very Comfortable
I ordered different pairs. I have very average size feet, not too wide or narrow (I'm a 10) and have no swelling. These were the most comfortable as they don't have any rough surfaces, fabric edges, buckles etc that rub against your feet which I've found is pretty rare. I rarely wear sandals so I'm not concerned about the durability. But if you are an every day almost year around wearer or have swollen feet these probably aren't going to work well.

Comfortable, usable sandal
This is my second pair of Solanos. The first pair needed replacement because both soles separated from the uppers beginning at the heels...after 2 1/2 -3 years. I wore them daily during warm seasons (a long season on the SE coast where I live) and, with socks, into cooler weather. The first pair was comfortable, looked nice (if one likes sandals), and were satisfying enough so that I bought a second pair. The new pair varies cosmetically from the original pair: sole pattern; surface texture of leather; lighter, brown color. Overall appearance is unchanged. There is an annoying issue with the velcro fasteners. Whereas the velcro tab on the adjuster strap (the one that pulls through the slider) is adequate, the velcro where it attaches to anchor the strap length has been shortened so much that there is not much adjustment left to loosen the straps to accommodate socks. My first pair was adequately adjustable. Regarding arch support, I needed the flattest insole I could find. Sandals, being comfortably flexible, have reduced lateral support. A dramatic arch support would have promoted a "turned" ankle when walking through leaf-covered ground concealing gumballs, pine cones, hickory nuts, etc.

Ordered one number larger, turns out I was right. Wearing 11, ordered 12 and fits perfectly :-)Good sandals. Easy on the feet and seem solid built. Love them so far.
