Easy to use and clean
Works great, easy to clean, and definitely easy to use. Wanted something small to put away when not in use. Cooks quickly and distributes heat pretty evenly. Great value for the money.

Cook well but uneven shape
This pizelle maker was one of the cheaper ones which is why I bought it. The temperature of it is good and the timer/light is pretty accurate. The original pizelle recipe it came with was good but a little watery. The chocolate recipe was very thick and I needed to add more liquid. Both recipes taste good. My biggest complaint is how the cooker does not flatter the dough evenly as you can see in the picture. The recipe suggests to use 2tbs per pizelle which is way too much. A lot of the mix oozes out especially in the front. Overall, for the price point it works pretty good.

Fun item for tea and cookies
My Mom loved this little gift for Xmas. We are waiting for her to recover from being under the weather to give it a whirl.

Thin batter
Just keep batter thin, it does better. Thick batter needs to cook longer to make it a cookie texture . After cooling it isn't cookie texture, becareful not to burn.

Tiny But Outstanding.
This is a wonderful pizzelle maker if you're looking for a small, easy-to-store version of the usual large stainless steel types out there. I changed the included recipes a bit, so that's nothing new. Here's a tip: use a spring-loaded 1 1/2" ice cream scooper for the perfect size cookie that fill the press with no overfill. Also, the instructions say to place the dough in the center of the bottom. Placing it slightly behind center gives a perfectly shaped pizzelle. I think this is a real "find" and I cook!
