I keep a notebook and pens in here and in a purse. Holds up well and looks good. Holds 5 pens, doesn't do well with grips on the elastic part for single pens,but they can fit in the mesh pocket.

The case is durable and just enough space for pencils and pens.

The bag will hold quite a few pens and pencils. I like the top section and flap for storing pens with clips on them. There is a carry handle on one end so you can attach it to a bag with a carabiner or clip. The double zippers are nice for easy access. I would say this is a sturdy bag; with the padding around the outside, it would be difficult for a pen or pencil to puncture through.
