Does as it says.
I'm totally blind. I got these for use in my house being I have that type of wiring and it is ahrd to find switches and the like for it. These have came in handy for people to help me swap out switches and to also put in a few ceiling fans so it is done correctly. Most switches and all ceiling fans are for copper wiring. This away I know things are done correctly and will also meet code when I go to part with the house. These will handle two wires one of each type that you screw down. Then you flip close the lid on them. That is all that is two them. Just had to do that a week or so ago. swapped out a switch for a old fan that was half and half. Power wire was the old wire and the Copper wire went up to the fan. So had to add a pig tail to make it copper so it could be screwed onto the switch being the old switch was for a 30 year model of fan to be able to control it. The new fan wouldn't work with it, so put in a standard Off/On switch.

Not name-brand quality!
I have many problems using this compared to name brand product. The metal used is just too soft and easily damaged while turning to the specified torque. Also, I had aluminum wire snapped and detached twice. Not really reassuring…

Works well with aluminum to copper wire connections
Worked well for pigtailing aluminum to copper connection but, make sure to use torque screwdriver to make connections.

Great connectors if you have the space.
These are great connectors for use when you are replacing outlets or switches that no longer allow the use of CU/AL wire. Aluminum house wiring requires copper pigtail to be used on most modern outlets and switches. Theses connectors are great for that but do take up space in the existing electrical boxes. Would suggest using a toque screwdriver and setting the aluminum to 15 in/lb. and the copper to 10 in/lb. Don't forget to use the antioxidant on the aluminum connections.
