I own a log burner and over the years have used just about every mode of starting a fire known to man from tightly rolled coils of newspaper to kindling and the white chemical block firelighters with and without clean individually wrapped packaging.But these win hands down. There is no smell, they are not greasy and, most important, are extremely effective and there is no need for kindling. I find lighting one firelighter between two parallel logs leaning against each other to create a tunnel or with a third log dropped on top is all this is needed. They burn long enough and hot enough to ignite the logs and all at a reasonable price. They are a greener alternative and my only gripe is that the bag they come in could be either recyclable or compostable.

Very Good value compared to other vendors selling them for £6-7 per bag! They ignite easily both indoors and outdoors.

Find these natural fire lighters easy to use. A little more expensive then my regular source.
