Hybrid Meeting MUST HAVE!
We started doing Board training for our clients a few months back. We keep finding new stuff to make it better because we do it in a virtual meeting format so people can attend in person or via Microsoft Teams. The first meeting we used our Owl Labs 360 degree camera and microphone setup, which we use a lot in Board meetings. It worked, but not great. Next we used my wife's mirrorless DSLR camera for the video, which worked great for showing the presenter, but we still used the Owl Labs to show the audience and as a microphone to pick up the audience's audio when they asked questions. The video from the DSLR was great, but the audio sucked. Next we used the DSLR with a single lav mic that was rented from a photo equipment supplier. That worked awesome for the presenter but they had to repeat whatever in-person attendees asked so the virtual attendees could hear. Finally we got these mic's. Connected to the DSLR, with one mic used by the presenter, one by the person watching Teams for questions, and two that could be passed around for in-person attendees to use when asking their questions. BOOM! This was perfect! Now the virtual attendees could hear everything that the in-person people could! These work great! I really don't know of a negative aspect. So cheap compared to most other options. Fairly small devices. Charge quickly and the charge lasts longer than I need.

Amazing little microphone
Having used several wireless lavalier microphones in the past, I can confidently say that the BOYA Wireless Lavalier Microphone stands out from the crowd. The audio quality is exceptional, delivering crystal-clear sound without any interference or dropouts. The wireless range is impressive, providing reliable connectivity even in challenging environments. The build quality is sturdy, ensuring durability for long-term use. Setup is a breeze, making it perfect for both beginners and professionals alike. Whether you're recording interviews, podcasts, or videos, this microphone exceeds expectations. I highly recommend the BOYA Wireless Lavalier Microphone to anyone in need of a reliable and high-quality audio solution.

Best of 5 Similar Mics I Tried– No Crackle or Static!
This was the fifth similar wireless microphone I tried from Amazon for around $30, and it is the ONLY one that does not add random bits of crackle and static to your audio! It also has a fuller audio sound than the runner up microphone I was going to keep until I found this one. This microphone looks like a totally different product design, packaging, and instruction manual from the others, while the others all looked made in the same factory with just very slight product variations and a different logo, so it was no surprise they all shared the same crackle problem while this microphone does not. I put this microphone through tests of loud airplanes flying low overhead (see video), strong winds, fans, weed whackers, and more, and it recorded well through all of it. No other microphone could consistently handle the planes or wind in noise cancellation mode without often crackling or having a delay before noise cancellation kicked in, but this one handles it all without missing a beat. I wish this came with a charging case or a USB power cord with a splitter so you could charge both mics from 1 USB port, or deadcat windscreens— like all the other microphones did. But in the end, the only thing that matters is having a microphone that doesn't randomly crackle! You can buy deadcats and cord splitters anywhere, but this is the only microphone I could find under $50 with crackle-free audio. UPDATE 1.5 years later: I've used these microphones for 1 hour almost every day for over a year, and they still work perfectly! I use them to record Spotify ads for clients and YouTube videos. I can't recommend them enough!

BOYA Microphone Issue – Receiver Not Charging or Connecting
I purchased this BOYA microphone in 2024 but didn’t use it until now. Today, when I finally tried to use it, I found that the receiver (the part that connects to the phone) doesn’t turn on at all — there’s no light, no response. I’ve tried charging the receiver multiple times, but it doesn’t show any sign of charging — no indicator light, nothing. The microphone itself powers on and shows signal activity, but it doesn’t connect to the receiver. The light on the microphone keeps flashing red and blue, red and blue, and never turns green — which, as I understand, means it’s not pairing with the receiver at all. I’m very upset because I was really looking forward to using this microphone, and now I don’t know what to do. Could you please advise what I should do or offer a solution?

Update: Works with Android! But need Boya 3.5mm to TRS cord
Really great product! You get 4 awesome mics! It works with your camera or with a smartphone. However, if you plan to use it with your phone, you need their 3.5mm to TRS male cable which is sold separately for like $18. The customer service was awesome and they sent me the cable for free! There is no other product like this on the market. This simplifies so much! No more pounds of cables and old technology. If you use Android, you'll need to use the Open Camera app and in the settings, audio, choose "external microphone". And that's it! :)

Um dos melhores microfones que já usei, possui bem pouco ruído, o design é fofinho, apesar de não ser tão pequeno quanto os atuais

I had the least expectation for this product when I purchase it and meant for one small event. However, I was quite surprise that the sound was very clear after recording. It will be better if I can connect to a headphone to listen to the recording while going live but still, for this price, the sound is awesome really!

This product is value for money. I used it with Iphone pro max 14. It does not pick up background sound. Sensitive to pick up voice when pinned on clothes. Recommend for amateur vloggers.
