Does not work with all surveillance hard drives.
I bought this product to upgrade my security system from an 8 camera system to a 12 camera system. At the same time of purchase I also bought a Western Digital 6TB purple surveillance hard drive to use as storage. The NVR refused to recognize the Western Digital drive , giving me an error message that it only works with Seagate skyhawk drives. So this delayed to total installation , since I was only able to use it to monitor the cameras but not record. After purchasing the Seagate drive and installing , the NVR recognized it immediately. So heads up, if you are planning to buy this model/ unit , be prepared to purchase a Seagate drive instead of any other brand. (The 8 port system I have was also Hik Vision but worked fine with a WD hard drive). Other than that it works fine so far. I have not setup or tested all the accusense functionality but as an NVR it works ok. I would like to give it 3 1/2 stars but there is no option for that.
