This book is really helpful for anyone who has grasped the very basics of coloured pencil work. It has helpful hints and tips for most aspects through to the finished project. I particularly like the fact that instead of pencils listed by number, a colour chart of all the Prismacolor Pencils used in each picture is actually shown at the start: if you have a limited palette, or use a different brand, it is easier to select a colour. A recommended addition to my bookshelf.

I bought this as a present for my mother, who wants to get into using coloured pencils but I realised there wasn't enough information and it goes from basics straight into detailed drawing, ok if you are already confident about your sketching abilities but not for a complete beginner.

An extremely useful and explanatory guide without the mess of oils or water colours which suits those of us who need to be in control of the medium.

Very happy with this book. Describes how to draw flowers in clear step by step easy illustrations. And very colourful.

A good guide on using coloured pencils, (which are my favourite tools for creativity).
