As a long-time user of Eve products, I’ve always found their smart devices to be top-notch, and this Eve Door and Window Sensor is no exception. It integrates seamlessly with Apple Home and provides reliable notifications for open and closed states, giving me peace of mind about the security of my home. The Bluetooth/Thread connectivity works flawlessly, and the best part is there’s no need for a bridge, making setup quick and easy. I love how I can automate my accessories and scenes based on the sensor’s state, adding convenience to my smart home. Eve has yet again impressed me with the quality and reliability of their products. Definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a hassle-free, efficient smart sensor!

Very reliable and long battery life compared to cheaper brands. Have used these to replace Meross ones which kept failing to connect.

I have now fitted 12 of these on various doors and windows. The installation is easy, and the Eve app out Apple HomeKit app steps you through the process nicely. I only had one glitch where after a firmware update one unit stopped responding, but Eve support helped me resolve that issue. Operation is very reliable, and the automations I have set work well. One lesson I learnt was with regard to fitting on Velux windows. Initially they were on and working ok, but after a short period of time I would get a window open notification followed very quickly by a closed notification, even when windows had not been opened. I realised the magnet part was just a fraction too far from the sensor. After carefully removing (not easy, so take care) and remounting the issue was resolved. So I can’t blame the product. Overall I’m happy with these and would fit more if needed.

I don't know if it's the app or the hardware, but I can tell you for certain the customer support sucks. Purchased, delivered, no problem. Opened, looks great. Added to home and tested - works fine... 30 seconds later and oops, unresponsive. Reset, restarted, re added to home, and boom, working fine... 30 seconds later... oops... unresponsive. Contacted support, 'you'll hear back in 24 hours!'... 5 working days later and I get questions I'd answered in the original question about my smart home system, and asking if I'd restarted them. Super frustrating. These are one of the pricier options for Apple Home door sensors, so I'd expected they would be solidly connected and we wouldn't have a problem, but no. I'm very disappointed in these. And before you jump to thinking that it's my home systems fault, I'd had an Aqara door sensor on both doors previously that had sadly lived out their lives - 3 years (give or take a year) - I though Eve would be an upgrade, but alas, back to Aqara I have gone, and a simlper life I do lead.

Work as expected but a bit bulky for what this is and using an inconvenencial battery type.

As a tenant, I've had my fair share of landlords who like to turn up anannounced or let themselves in when I am out, this door/window sensor provides me with an extra layer of comfort knowing when my front door has been opened or closed whilst I am not in. It's a small device that fits perfectly on the door and is super easy to set up and connect to my iPhone and Apple HomeKit system.

These are just so simple and brilliant it’s incredible. Using with Apple HomeKit app. Easy to install, self adhesive stickers or screws Set up is about 5 mins per unit and works like a dream. Download the Apple HomeKit App, apply where you want it either on a door or window, or even a Garage Roller or normal up and over door. When the sensors are split you get a notification to with iPhone, iPad Apple Watch or even the iOS iPod I would think too. I’ve got one on the back door so if it’s opened during the night I have 2 bedside light that come on and the Apple HomePod mini comes on playing an alarm sound. So simple and so quick. Brilliant

Set up in seconds. So far so good. Replacing a Meross sensor which was cheaper but rubbish. Original Meross sensor and 2 replacements failed very quickly. Arrived earlier than expected too.

I bought EVE Window & Door in December 2023. Today is December 2024. IT WORKS LIKE A CHARM. I have had no problems at all since the purchase. I changed the battery for the first time in November 2024, so it should last at least a year. The EVE application also works. It is interesting to see how many times a day and for how long doors are opened or closed or how long family members have been away from home. I also have peace of mind during the holidays. I only had once problem with connection, but a quick reset fixed it. Just once. I use the Apple ecosystem and AppleTV is the hub.

Ces capteurs ont bien fonctionné jusqu’à leur mise à jour pour passer à Matter/Thread. Il semble que le nouveau firmware ne soit pas au point... la mise à jour a rendu le capteur inopérant. Evidemment le gadget n’était plus sous garantie, expérience très décevante.

Perfecto para iOS y automatizaciones, no necesita hug para funcionar perfectamente con el ecosistema HomeKit.

Simplicité d’installation, utilisation très ludique, paramétrages simple surtout avce la nouvelle norme Matter qui permet de bien communiquer entre les différentes plateformes ! Connexion sécurisé avec HomeKit pour les personnes qui utilisent Apple mais pas que ! Android aussi !! Très bon produit, Automatisation à l’ouverture ou fermeture d’une fenêtre ou porte, avec éclairage ou chauffage ventilation à paramétrer à activer ou simplement créer un système de protection au domicile ! Grande Marque qui évolue et propose plusieurs solutions Dans la domotique qui ne cesse de progresser ! Je conseil ses capteurs qui sont simple et qui durent dans le temps alimenté par une pile n’a pas besoin d’une alimentation au courant 230v.

Como todos los productos Eve, calidad asegurada. Fácil de instalar y emparejar con la aplicación Casa de Apple. De momento la batería aguanta un montón. Gracias a su conectividad Thread los avisos de apertura y cierre son prácticamente instantáneos. Por poner un pero, me gustaría que Eve añadiera alguna funcionalidad más a este tipo de sensores, como por ejemplo, sensor de temperatura, al igual que algunos productos de otras marcas ya que para lo que es, es un poco caro. Pero claro, la calidad hay que pagarla. No he optado por actualizar el producto a Matter, por lo que no puedo opinar al respecto. Realmente no lo necesito y no quiero experimentar hasta que Matter no esté bien desarrollado.
