Much more useful
I needed a surge protected lead that I could use on my desktop pc. with separate switches, and this seemed ideal for my requirements.Instead of having one switch to power every component, I can now turn on individual items as required. This Tacima 6 Way protector feels much better quality than my previous units from places like China, and seems to conform with all British safety standards. I cannot comment on durability as I have only just installed it, but, so far, I am extremely pleased with my choice. It looks good, feels good and does the job perfectly.

Good quality extension lead.
Like other reviewers have said, this is a well-made extension lead. The switches are positive in action and are easy to operate. The sockets provide a secure and firm fit for the plugs. It was worth paying the extra cost, rather than buying a cheaper but inferior quality product.

Only one has burnt out
Most of the sockets are still working after over 2 years (am presuming the surge protectors are still protecting)

Independent switches very useful. No problems or complaints (haven't needed surge protection yet though!)
Cannot comment on surge protection, but if only as a standard-issue extension lead, this performs well. Individual switches are useful for cutting down on standby power draw. Decent build quality.

Substandard quality
I purchased two of these four years ago. After two years of use one of the switches failed on one; on the other the brightness of the LEDs varies considerably. It seems that quality control is lacking in their manufacture.

Well tought out Extension
A good 6-way UK 3-pin Extension Lead with individual switches and protection. If the latter proves to work properly, then this is also a good Value For Money purchase.

Cheap, because it's flimsily made
Looks very good in the packaging with its distinctive green switches. That's it, though. Those switches feel flimsy and don't operate positively. There was the odd visible spark. Not recommended; it was returned.
