Best iron I have had
Best iron I have had and ive now had it several months. For the cost, it's great value for money. Long cord, glides super smooth, irons really well, just the right weight, not too heavy on my wrists, no leaks. Yes, the plug falls out the storage holes when you move the iron or pick it up as many reviews state. Is that really a reason to write a negative review. Nah. It's great. Ignore the bad reviews

Great Iron, Great Price & Good Quality
I have bought this iron twice now & i really do love it, im a crafter & use many different size irons within my crafts, i love the warning beeps when the iron is stood up & unused for a while, you can never forget that you have the iron turned on, this 1 is going to be used only for household/clothes ironing & my other 1 for use within my crafts so i dont have to watch out for going over metal items & marking my iron, you really will be very happy with this iron, its a good price, great quality & a nice weight but not over the top, the main reason i keep 2 irons on the go is simple, when ironing my fabric etc within my crafts i dont use water through the iron, i use a spray bottle to give a light damping but doing any other ironing i like the full pressure of the steam to cut right through those creases.

does the job
After my last Russel Hobbs iron died, this one was ordered in the morning and arrived same day. The box it came in fell apart (not wrapped in an amazon box) but...Pros: The water tank is huge and after 45 mins of ironing there was still loads left despite plenty of steaming and spraying. It eats creases and the jet of steam does a good job. The ceramic plate is nice and easier around buttons. It is heavy enough to give you that satisfying weight of an iron. I like the tidy up cable which is long enough to plug into a wall socket and still iron rather than use with an extension lead. Put good creases in my work shirts.Cons: It does spit out water occasionally from the front which is weird, the red light didnt come on until it was on 3* of heat - I'd like to know it was on as soon as I plugged it in, there is no button to have a continuous jet of steam. Minor gripes. For less than £30 it irons clothes ok straight from the box.

Unbeatable at the price
This was a replacement to the iron I dropped on a hard floor (still functioning, but a bit of the plate missing).Best iron I have ever had. Lightweight, good flex length and heat from the plate minimises ironimg time. Favourite feature is the plug storage, brilliant.

Good value and not too heavy brilliant storage
Excellent value for money when compared with more expensive alternativesAlso this iron was easier to handle for anyone that suffers with back problems or Arthritis etc as my wife does but she found the weight just right. Also the wire and plug store is brilliant. Always a problem when storing an iron but not this one. You don't even have to wait for it to cool as you can wind the flex up and put the plug in and it still stands safely on its heel a truly clever idea that other manufacturers should take note of.In all, a very worthwhile purchase.

Genius idea... can't figure out how to actually make the genius idea work though
The iron is much heavier than normal but still works great and I actually like the heaviness of it ... definitely would not describe it as lightweight though. Storage for the plug is a great idea in theory but so far I've not been able to successfully wind the cable round the bottom of the iron in such a way that it fits back in to the plug cradle in the base. Maybe it's just me (and husband) being dim but we just end up with loads of loose cable if we want to store the plug in the base

Plug holder is tricky
After my previous iron of the same brand stopped working I bought this one. Liked the idea that the plug clipped into the base, this however is the most irritating part. Doesn't always line up ao you have to spin the piece round but then the plug sometimes pops out, miss the little clasp that the other iron had. Other than that works great.
