You can choose a 10Gtek Intel compatible 1G SFP RJ45 transceiver or a 10Gtek Intel compatible 10G SFP+ RJ45 transceiver for this 10Gtek Intel X520-DA1 10GbE network card. Please kindly notice if you use a 1G SFP RJ45, the other side should be 1G too. Unfortunatelly, the 10Gtek Intel compatible 1G SFP RJ45 transceiver were just sold out, we'll send some stock in a short time. **Q: Should i get more than 980mbps: pc to 10 gbe switch sfp+ to pc, both with x520-da1, fast pc's with ssd's**
A: You need to be clear on your units used there.  mbps = megabits per second, which would equate to ~98 megabytes per second, which you could achieve with a single hard drive let alone an SSD.
A topology like you quote would be able to get to 980 MegaBYTES per second, yes.  980 MB/s (or thereabouts) is the limit of 10gig ethernet anyway, so I doubt you'd get quicker unless you ran two connections to each PC and to the switch (and the switch had enough fabric to cope)

**Q: What cable / transceiver do i need to contect this to a ubiquiti unifi us-48-750w switch?**
A: Hi, 

That switch has SFP ports so you will need an INTEL compatible SFP that works with the card like the below, you will then need an LC to LC fibre patch cable to link the devices.
