I was initially sceptical about how well this would work, simply because of the low price. But in all honesty I am very pleased. Yes it may not be the best on the market, but so far it has functioned really well and done all I expected from a code reader. It collates error codes which can then be looked up on the internet. And very easy to navigate. The dark screen function is great for clarity of reading imo. So my opinion is that if you’re after an inexpensive code reader simply for that purpose, then it will serve you well

this is a life saver. Our ford gave a suspension error after a battery change. there is nothing wrong with the suspension, its just a error that pops up. Ford engineering fault. This cleared it.

It is ok and does what it meant to! I bought this to replace an old one which was phone based and that was far better and did more. This is basic and does turn off the error and reads the battery. If I had to buy another I would spend more money or look for a better item.

Very disappointing did not connect and turn on properly, when failed at the car (did not switch on), the manufacturer's online guidance said to use the update software from their website -- could not get it out of the update loop and after waiting for nearly 12 hours for the progress to complete the USB was not even recognised. It does not even switch on.

So happy with this. My vans engine warning light came on, and then 30 secs later the ad blue warning light came on. I suspected the ad blue sensor had malfunctioned, as it was telling me that there was no start in 1500 miles for a long time, never going down. So, the garage was going to need to be visited - an expensive undertaking to confirm my suspicions. So I ordered this, got the code. Simple Google on that code and it confirmed my suspicions. Topped up the ad blue, and cleared the errors. Saved me hundreds at a garage to be told the same.

Price to value ratio on this one is pretty solid. I was able to both scan and clear codes on my 2013 Honda and 2018 Volvo. Live data is nice and the DTC dictionary is a helpful feature. It is made of plastic and doesn't feel the most robust (I wouldn't want to drop it too often) and it definitely lacks the features of higher end (and much pricier) models, but for the cost, this works well. Overall, if you need a code reader on a budget, this is a great option.
