I am really mean to my phones and I work in healthcare, so I have to sanitize the thing. This case keeps me from wreaking my phone when I drop it, then sanitize it, then throw it in my bag. all the button's work and the screen works exactly like normal, even though everything is covered. I do not know if it is 100% waterproof because I never do the testing like Lifeproof tells you to. I just stuff it in there and go. I do run outside in the rain with it, though and no problems. I even dropped it in the toilet once with my last phone and it was fine, so I suspect the waterproofing really is as good as they say. I would take off a 1/2 star if I could, though because for this run ALL the colors are UGLY. With my previous phone, even though I had a bulky case, at least it didn't look stupid. This one definitely does not look good, but it sure protects my phone!

Hard to find the life proof these days, thankful Amazon. I work in and on salt water for roughly 120 days a year. My device/phone Hass to be with me for water safety at all times. We are well away from civilization. Nine years with this product, and they don’t last forever but they’re super adorable and they work and I’ve never lost or damaged a phone in a life proof case. Probably about 12 cases later. But it’s the only thing I can trust my device on the salt water with. Hope this helps somebody OtterBox took over life proof, so I’m sure they’re going to continue the same standard of quality when we can’t find life proof anymore.

These cases are very good and they Will protect your phone from basically anything. They will not last forever as eventually the case will start ripping apart but they are very good for a long time.

This case does its job to protect! I am notorious for dropping my phone, and this case takes a beating, but there’s not one scratch or shattered screen thanks to the protection it offers! I’m amazed at some of the saves it’s made! It has even fallen hard, directly into the edge of brick and punctured straight through the face screen. Upon seeing the hole in the screen, I was sick thinking the screen would be at least cracked, if not worse, and to my surprise, nothing at all was wrong with the phone screen! I was in shock and amazed! It’s also protected from rainstorms, keeping it water free and safe. It’s a sleek design and fits perfectly into my pockets, purse, etc. I love that it protects so well without any bulk. The color is pretty (teal) and cleans well.

I'm so happy with this case! It's waterproof, dustproof, and bump-proof.I fish and spend time at the beach, and I like to have my phone along to use the camera. My last case was drop-proof, but not waterproof or dustproof. My screen cover was so scratched-up it was impossible to show people a photo unless we went inside or into shade. Really embarrassing!My brother finally said I HAD to get a new case! So I looked online for my 3 requirements: Drop-proof, dustproof and waterproof. The only case I found that meets my needs is the LifeProof FRE SERIES.When you first get it, you put the case together, making sure the gasket is in place. Then you put it in water for 20 minutes (I left it longer) then dry off the outside and open it to check for leaks. If it leaks, you return it for a replacement. Mine didn't leak, so I put my phone into it and have been loving it!I show it off to friends and family! I recommend this case!

Bought this case for Christmas of 2022.. 3 months later it has started to fall apart and now it is no longer water proof. Very light usage on it as well so I’m not sure if I received a defective product or what, but there is no reason it should have started deteriorating this quick.
